Everything else was fine or better. One of the best Manias in recent memory. Night 1 was awesome.

The Jackass cast match got the loudest pop as matches go.

That was booked to a T. Hardcore weapons, creation, innovation, surprise help, laughs and more laughs. That was a 90's type of feel.

Also interested in Edge's reinvention. Last night had a new Brood style after the twist.

I'll watch tonight and see if I'll try to keep up. Cody, new heel Edge, Roman is a monster heel, WWE has a few things going hot right now.

The Zayn match was just fine for me, but I could tell it went off exactly as planned and got a great reaction. I hope the way he carried this feud will lead to him getting to do some real rasslin’ in the near future.

Styles/Edge was good for me, but falls short of the highlights. Thought the finish was weak. If you’re going to introduce a new stable, have them get physically involved to determine the outcome, not just stand there as a distraction. Just my opinion there.

The fake crying was so cringey. The story he was telling was actually really good on its own, but his wannabe drama acting class delivery was horrific.

It's so dumb IMO. More ad buys for sure. But Smackdown and Dynamite (and Rampage in an hour) do more for wrestlers than Raw with 75 minutes of replays.

Three hours is often pushing it for a PPV, let alone a garbage weekly show like Raw. Just look at how bloated Wrestlemania was. Half those matches didn't belong anywhere near WWE's biggest show of the year, and it was generally considered one of the better Mania cards in recent years.

Lost amongst all the Wrastlemania hype - FTR vs. The Briscoes on Friday was one of the best tag team matches i've watched. Worth checking out.
