WWE/NXT/AEW/NJPW Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Lesnar v Reigns in the murderous kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It just amazing to me how they can continue to hold these shows without significant blacklash from fans/shareholders/sponsors.

AEW has resurrected my love of wrestling. I was a child of the 90s, so I grew up a huge WCW mark and got into the raw attitude era and ECW. Fell out of love in high school but rekindled my affair in college with my dorm roommates. However, I lost interest after a while and would rarely tune in except for the occasional wrestlemania. Later on, my buddy turned me on to NXT during the Owens/Zayne feud and I was hooked again. NXT was the best thing in wrestling for a while but after seeing all the incredible talent getting called up and immediately misused on the main roster? The product lost its luster for me and would maybe check out a takeover here and there.

The same buddy who got me into NXT was hounding me to check out AEW, but I figured it was a new-era TNA. When Punk and Bryan signed, I knew I had to check it out. All it took was watching Bryan/Omega for 30 mins on cable and I’m officially a die hard re-watching old airings to catch up on this Page/Omega storyline and buying Malakai Black mercy.

I don’t know why I wrote this now but thank you Tony Khan?

A Dynamite-less Wednesday vibe.

Welcome back to the fold.

Rampage beat Smackdown head to head in the 18-49 key demo, which is pretty crazy even with Smackdown being on FS1 when you consider that juiced lineup.

Ruby Soho beating the contract signing has Khan unhinged on Twitter lol.

Undertaker just so happens to be in Saudi Arabia as WWE takes the stage for Crown Jewel.

I can see a tombstone to Lesnar and write him off TV for a little because of his limited appearances.

If anyone missed PAC v. Andrade last night, do yourself a favor and watch it this weekend. Perhaps the best match I've seen on Rampage to date and arguably a top 5 AEW TV match ever.

AEW has gotten more personality out of Bobby Fish in 3 weeks than WWE ever did in four years. He's been having banger matches too. Glad he gets a final go. Hope Kyle O'Reilly joins soon.
