WWE/NXT/AEW/NJPW Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Kross, Lee, Moon are the most notables.

AEW needs to watch what they do as well, they're loaded.

With Moxley out indefinitely, they should have some more time to fill. Honestly, would do some good if they cut some of their bottom of the roster guys.

Maybe make AEW Dark, Elevation or whatever C show about working specific skills for talent. Like Pillman Jr and Jungle Boy's mic skills, more reps for Hobbs, etc. The TBS title and FTW the center piece of the show while also moving it to a set location basically separating it from their live shows.

They badly need a way to develop some of their young wrestlers without overexposing them on live TV.

If I’m AEW, Keith Lee and Ember Moon are absolute no brainers. I might pass on Kross if I’m them and wait for better talent to have their contracts come up like Gargano and Owens.

Kross does nothing for me - incredibly pedestrian in the ring. The rumor is that he was canned because he's an anti-vaxxer and Vince wants to protect the locker room. I hope TK passes on him.

I will miss seeing Scarlett though.

They’re both massive Q-anon people. Not well liked in the locker room is probably an understatement.

That's unfortunate. I really enjoyed them in NXT, thought they stood a chance on the main roster then Vince separated them and killed that idea quickly.

Makes sense then.

They definitely did Kross no favors once he got to the main roster by splitting him and his wife up even though she's a huge part of the act.

I don't think Kross is a special talent the way Keith Lee is, though. He and his wife make for a good act but he's just average as a worker.

When they were both on the independent scene, there was only one draw in their family.

Crazy that next year there is a real possibility of seeing the Undisputed Era vs. The Elite in some iteration. Blood and Guts 2022, I see you.

WON: NXT: After 11 shows with the new format designed to increase the appeal to younger viewers, this week’s show did a 0.05 with teenagers and 0.06 in 18-34, and remains in a battle with Impact as the oldest skewing nationally broadcasted wrestling show.

I just watched Bobby Fish and Adam Cole go over Orange Cassidy and Wheeler Yuta on Rampage in a banger. Johnny Gargano extended his WWE contract for only 10 days to get through WarGames, conveniently expiring right before AEW's Winter is Coming. The KO and O'Reilly chatter isn't dying down.

2022 is AEW's for the taking.

If Gargano goes to the AEW/Indies, local fed AIW will have him and it will be absolutely insane.

If you’re in Cleveland, and he’s on a card and you like him, go. Or watch on IWTV.

You didn't want to see Vince looking for an egg?

:chuckle:

I've long thought they could get some real mileage out of a story where someone takes over the company and checks Vince into a home, and then every week you get a few skits of him interacting with other people and not understanding how the real world works, with occasional wrestler legend guest stars.
