WWE/NXT/AEW/NJPW Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Sasha oozes charisma. You can tell she puts a lot of time into her marquee matches, has a great understanding of ring psychology and has gotten better each year.

She's also a total MILF (Mandalorian I'd Like To F*ck.)
I'd eat those cheeks.

I thought the Fiend stuff was cool at first but I just don't understand his booking at all. He's either invincible or loses easy. That WM match was hot garbage.

I've never been impressed by Bray in the ring. He's a decent promo and obviously pours everything he has into his characters but my god are they gimmicky. Just not for me. Give me the NXT realism over that popcorn crap any day of the week.

I don't mind the gimmicks but unfortunately when a gimmick goes over, it seems Vince loves to control the hell out of it.

Speaking of shit Vince loves to do....

Why does he have a hard on with eliminating half of the wrestlers name? Matt Riddle is Riddle now. Charlotte Flair is Charlotte. Buddy Murphy. I'm sure there's more. It's one of my biggest pet peeves.

Yeah, the main problem with the Fiend was that they botched the whole angle with his Hell in a Cell match against Rollins. The Fiend was wildly over at the time and they needed to have him murder Rollins. Instead, they inexplicably ended a no DQ match with a referee decision, the crowd shit all over it, and the gimmick was more or less dead in the water after that because they kept refusing to commit to the Fiend.

Yeah that was a mistake. He bounced back fairly well on Smackdown throughout the covid era....

Well I started writing this out and began thinking about it. His strap match with DBry wasn't during covid.
Funhouse Match with Cena was an instant classic.
His fued with Braun was aiight. Crappy swamp match. But I liked the weekly shows.
I barely remember the match v Bray when Roman returned and then the 3way afterwards... I think I'm partial to those matches because of Roman's new look (Beef Flavored Roman Noodles) and his new character direction.
The Funhouse segments are usually a hit.

But yeah, I see your point. Besides his character and the Funhouses... Brays matches have been wet butt cheeks.

Plus he had that trash match with Dadberg. Where Dadberg almost killed him with his inability to do basic wrestling moves he's done for 20+ years.

Andrade Cien Almas
Elias Samson
Mustafa Ali (although, like Charlotte Flair, eventually regained full-name status)
Antonio Cesaro
Otis Dozovic

Not a name shortening, but they really screwed Hanson and Rowe (War Raiders) with a main roster name change.

It's silly and makes no sense to me. Speaking of Andrade. What a waste of talent. He was an amazing heel with Zalina in NXT and he had moments on Main Roster. But never had the machine behind him. He could have had a career similar to Seth Rollins if he was given the opportunities.

You're basically fucked if you can't speak English on the main roster. Vince just won't get behind you fully. Asuka is about the only one who has had real success as a poor English speaker and she's both arguably the most talented female wrestler in the world and in a very thin division compared to the men.

Vince clearly doesn't understand the concept of pairing people who aren't great talkers with managers who can cut a promo like Triple H does. Andrade and Zelina were a perfect match. He could get it done in the ring and she could get it done on the mic. So naturally they get split up.

KUSHIDA finally gets a meaningful win. Well deserved.

I think Vince is subscribed to Kana Chan TV and fell in love with her like the rest of us.

Smart of Kahn to put Young Bucks vs. Fenix & PAC on first to showcase some of their best talent to any new viewers. That's a big number for them.
