Houston-Los Angeles has been fun so far. Gotta love that the two offenses are called by a run-and-shoot coach (June Jones - HOU) and a LaVell Edwards acolyte (Norm Chow - LA). Lots of airing it out.
 
They are going to regret not having fantasy football lined up for this. Could have given an even bigger boost to a solid start for the league.

Interested to see the ratings for this opening weekend. Idk if the hype was there (I dont watch ESPN or any sports shows). But the games were good and the rule changes made the game interesting. I think they dropped the ball on "making the games shorter" both games lasted roughly 3 hours. So they'll have to rethink something in the offseason

I believe I read they were shooting for 2 hr 45 min so not too far off. Agree they will need to rethink some things if they want to get there. Overall a solid start though.
