Your 2019 Cleveland Indians

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Apparently the Mariners ate $18.5m of the $21.3m owed to Jay Bruce, so maybe Encarnacion's money will not be such a sticking point should the Indians engage in trade talks to bring him back. With that said, would still like to give Bobby Bradley a fair shot at proving himself.
I didn't realize the Mariners took on so much of Bruce's deal. Hell, I would have given him a look at that rate.

I tell ya the one that got away is Gio Urshella. I was watching the Yanks game yesterday and they literally could not get him out. Amazing a utility guy ar best, put on the pinstripes and becomes Don Mattingly.

Im more hung up on Diaz, Frazier or even Aguilar. Frazier was for Miller made all the sense in the world, but Diaz and Aguilar were big surprises IMO. I would have never expected those two guys to turn into what they have. We could have had a LF, 1B & DH all locked in pretty cheap.

Aguilar fucking sucks after a really good half a season. Yandy has come back down to earth a little (I’d still want him back).

News on an an ex-Indian:

The Pirates signed outfielder Lonnie Chisenhall to a one-year, $2.75MM deal in the offseason, but he hasn’t played yet and it doesn’t appear he will anytime soon. Chisenhall’s still at home mending from left calf tightness. The 30-year-old opened the season on the injured list because of a finger issue, and not long after he started a rehab assignment April 19, the team shut him down because of the calf problem. The same calf prevented Chisenhall from playing past July 1 last year – his final season with the Indians.

The dude is going to have to retire this year. Quite a shame because he was a productive hitter for several seasons here.

Nobody in any American sport is LeBron right now.

Frankie is one of the top handful of stars in baseball.

Brad Hand is an excellent closer.

What's the discussion again?

I can’t handle Lindor in pinstripes. Trade him anywhere in the NL, but please not to New York.

Just because The Q was selling out during the LeBron era doesn't mean they were full in the upper decks during weekday games.

Lazy to compare max attendances of 20k to 35k

How did this thread all of a sudden become about trading Lindor to the Yankees, comparing fame levels of Brad Hand, Francisco Lindor and LeBron James... and Cavs attendance figures? :confused4:

Also helps that the Q is climate controlled. Build a dome and the people will come Ray

I saw a thread on r/baseball a few days ago and have been triggered ever since.

Like the rest of you, I enjoyed the Raptors ripping the heart out of the Oracle last night, but this article on our boys dropped during the action. Granted, Morosi is a master of conjecture, but I still expect the front office here to sell if the division is clearly out of reach a month from now. I’m skeptical that they entertain offers for Lindor this winter regardless how the rest of the season plays out.
