Your 2019 Cleveland Indians

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Right, the only other option (other than trade) would be swapping him with Daniel Johnson. And while Johnson might be a better option who won't strike out at alarming rates, not sure if it makes much sense to swap out Bradley for a guy with 0 MLB plate appearances.

Essentially Bradley will have until sometime close to the end of July to get his MLB act together. That is a fair amount of time at the end of the day. After that time frame, I see either a veteran being acquired, or they do a different direction with the DH spot if Bradley still struggles.

Next 2 weeks worth of games:

Few facts:
-Twins currently lead the Indians by 6.5 games
-The teams meet 10 more times this year, 7 of which will be in Minnesota.
-Minnesota has the easiest remaining SOS (TB #2, CLE #4, BOS #15, OAK #16, TEX #22)

Indians need to take probably 10+ of these next 14

Where do you get these data from (SOS)

Didn't double check them, but from the below site

So basically we have the same remaining sos if you take out each other from the remaining schedule.

Time to start using the DH spot as a glorified day off.

Or keeping whoever is hot in the lineup everyday regardless of position. I still would like us to get a legit RH bat for the DH spot to be honest.

Also the Indians have been slowly moving up the batting ranks overall as well. They are about 20th overall in offense, but the first part of the year they were bottom 3 so that is a very good improvement. I would put good money on in June they were closer to top 10 in offense. Even with the injuries, the Indians have still been a top 5 pitching staff. They also may have had the best catching staff in the pros as well, we haven't really even been missing a beat between the swap of Gomes for Plawecki and Perez starting. Jose is also batting .207 against righties now, less than a month ago he was batting .157. Batting .309/.368/.544 overall in his last 18 games. I don't think we will see the MVP Jose this season, but honestly he is hitting now at a respectable clip and this should help us down the stretch.

Bobby Bradley was basically a pre-planned temporary call up, per Tito.

Obviously I didn't know, either, since I've been telling everyone to give the kid a chance.

You think we will stay with the 13 arms then or bring up like a Johnson here soon?

Where does Johnson fit?

Naquin, Bauers and Mercado all playing well and need consistent playing time. Luplow is the platoon and doing his job well. Allen is the extra guy-- and nobody is gonna stunt Johnson's development by making him an extra OF.

I think this sets up the roster very well for a Domingo Santana or someone similar.

Put Johnson everyday in one corner, let Bauers DH.
