Zydrunas Ilgauskus has signed with Miami (post #127)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Lebron is dead to me.

Z is dead to me.

Is there any other team in the history of sports that the general public want to see fail on an epic scale? Wade talking about the trio as being the best of all time and they have yet to win anything? Jordan, Pippen and Rodman would rape those 3 self proclaimed greatest of all time. Magic, Worthy and Kareem would rape those 3 self proclaimed greatest of all time. This whole thing is getting to their heads and this is setting itself up to be the greatest fail in the history of sports.

If you're the Lakers, Magic and Boston right now, you gotta be licking your chops to get at these guys. Z would've been loved if he went to either of those teams but he chose the cHeat. I hope to see him choke like he usually does and brick open jumpers after open jumpers.

Zydrunas Ilgauskas

- At 35 years old, probably only has 1 or 2 seasons left.
- Spent 14 seasons with the Cavaliers
- Despite numerous foot surgeries, he never quit in a single game.
- When he left, he thanked Cleveland and it's fans in an informal interview with a local reporter.

LeBron James

- At 25 years old, probably has at least 10 years seasons left.
- Spent 7 seasons with the Cavaliers.
- Quit during the 2010 Boston series, although the Cavs - with LeBron trying - were good enough to win it all.
- When he left, he barely mentioned Cleveland and it's fans, did it on a one hour special with a title that was obviously a jab at Cleveland, and didn't have the courtesy to even notify the Cavaliers of his decision until 15 minutes into the special.

Please, nobody compare the two.

This sucks. But he is still my all time fav. basketball player. I can at least understand why he picked the Heat. He would rather spend time with his kids than ride the pine. So he went to a place where he can start. Good for him. But I'll still root for the Heat to lose everything single game this season!

Re: If Zydrunas Ilgauskus signs with Miami........

In 2005, he re-signed with the Cavs when he could have easily went somewhere else to win championships. Cavs were not contending at the time. That is what I meant by potential glory. He is not well known at all outside of Cleveland and his country.

Ok, I see what you meant, I'm just saying at that point his potential for glory had been replaced by 30 lbs of metal in his feet. The Cavs entertained other options at the time and conisdered letting him walk until they had a change of heart and Ferry dispatched Gilbet & Brown to intercept him before he could leave the country on vacation.

Z leaving is just one more reason to hate LeBron. If that dickface doesn't ditch us, no chance Z ends up anywhere else. Get AIDS LeBron you piece of shit

Can't blame Z though....his career is over and he is ringchasing. Nobody would have a problem with it if LeBron didn't give the Cleveland Steamer to Cavs fans.

Anyone read Z's interview? That's really how "the decision" should have gone. Classy guy that Z.

The only right decision Big Z could do in this situation. Cavs fucked him in the ass last year with that Jamison trade. Now its time to go ring hunting for real and he deserves it. He is tight with LeBron so its also great to see them join forces in Miami. Good luck for Big Z!

LOL! The guy gave his life for this organisation. He, if anyone, is entitled to do this move. I can´t believe I´m reading this kind of shit from the fans. Jesus Christ what hypocrites there are in this board!

LOL, Z was hardly a charity worker. Z was paid very well throughout his career. 10, 12 14 mil per, guy was banking. Z could have chosen another team, but he decided to join forces with LeQuitter, so he is dead by association.

The only thing left is for Lebron to hire Mark Price as his shooting coach, right?
And for Mike Brown to sign on to be the defensive coach for the Heat.

Where else could he possibly have a chance to start? Name one team contender or not.

He would have started in Atlanta and probably Dallas. But Dallas got Chandler and Atlanta wants Shaq.

I will wish Z well as a person.

But there's no way in hell that his jersey gets retired now.

That's just bad business for the Cavs to retire anyone's jersey who left the same year as LeFag to play for the Heat.

Dallas have Haywood starting as well as Chandler (or Dampier before that). Atlanta do not fall under the "contender" tag just yet. If Z's decision is based on playing time and chance to win, Miami was a no brainer.

I love you Z and I have so much respect for you but I expect Dwight Howard to average 50ppg and 20 rpg in a playoff series against Miami because we have seen Z guard Dwight and the results are not good and Miami has no depth at Center unless they decide to throw Dexter Pittman at Dwight for 30mpg but that's about all they have to look forward too. Like I said, I got tons of respect for Z and I hope he is part of the Cavs organization in the future.
