Zydrunas Ranked 6th Amoung Centers

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The lists are fun, and they give us something to yak about during this down time, but they are flawed for reasons that have been discussed here and in other forums. I think it would be interesting to rate the teams by position rather than the starters. In the case of center, we would be rated lower by position than Z is as starter because we don't have a solid back-up. With respect to power forward, on the other hand, the combo of Gooden, Marshall and Varejao/Henderson might put us into the top ten (or at least get us considered).

to add to that who else in the nba can shoot the sky hook like big Z.

Sort of gives me a chuckle when you look at the top centers and when you realistically break it down and move Ilgauskas to his true ranking. Alot of people on this forum either did not want him resigned, or thought he wasn't worth near 10 million per season. I shudder at the thought of not having Zydrunas anchor this current team.

ive allways wanted big z so dont include me in that group.

This entire list is compromised by the fact that Dan Gadzuric isn't listed ahead of guys like Pryzbilla, Krystic, and Kamen. Danny G led all centers in rebounds per 48 minutes. His stats were easily better than even Dalembert's last season (look it up).

Gadzuric:

7.3ppg, 8.3rpg, 1.4blocks, 54%fg, 22mpg

Dan is a top 15 center in this league. Bogut will be a top 10 center after this year as well.

Ilgauskas is more of a presence than Brad Miller. Amare is a hybrid who will return to the power forward position.

I've got:

1. Shaq
2. Yao
3. Wallace
4. Ilgauskas
5. Miller
6. Magloire
7. Camby
8. Okur
9. Bogut
10. Chandler
