2015 Draft Prospects

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
My favorite WR'ers are definitely Cooper and Parker.

Both run crisp routes, get off the line well, and have pretty natural hands.

If by the grace of God we are in the position to take him, though, I take Mariotta all day. He's going to be an absolutely special QB.

Is it too early to launch an Amari Safari thread for Mr. Cooper?

Browns showed what type of WR they're looking to put across from Gordon when they tried to trade up for Brandin Cooks. I think they'd be more interested in finding guys like Stefon Diggs, Rashad Greene, Antwan Goodley later in the 1st or 2nd round than taking Cooper or Parker at the top of the round.

FWIW, Brandon Scherff from Iowa is about as perfect a fit at OT for the ZBS as you're ever going to find.

Man, I'd sure love to get my hands on Mariota, though..... I wonder how far Ray would be willing to go, knowing what we know.

A Mariota/Diggs first round would surely have me excited.

But hey, it's so early...I don't want to talk about it yet at the risk of the making the Browns suck.

Because logic.

While I'm not quite ready to draft another QB (assuming we're picking in the top-4), I'd be thrilled to have a WR to couple with Gordon.. Diggs could be a great compliment and Cooper is just another tower to have out there. For Manziel, it'd be like having 2 Mike Evans out there. :chuckle:

Even in the loss, I saw some good things with Connor Cook (MichSt). Decently quick release, strong arm, good size and a good athlete. Gotta go with Mariota if they can, but Cook will be playing on Sundays soon too.

He's got some European in him. Not in a bad way, necessarily.

It's ok. Europe is *kinda* white, so you're allowed to use that description.

If the Browns don't' draft one of either Winston, Mariota, or Amari Cooper, I'm becoming a Steelers fan. It's not rocket science and I don't care if they drafted Johnny. Contingent on them having a top 5 pick - which if they don't from their own or the Bills' pick, they can package both to get up there.

You might as well start rooting for the stools now. If you cross to the stools, you were never a fan of the browns to begin with though.

Winston does not excite me as an NFL prospect.

I keep waiting to see something that makes me see what would make him special at the next level, but I just don't so far.

He needs another year.

Long release, often inaccurate, relies too much on a good arm and it gets him into trouble.

I think my dream scenario is landing Mariotta with one pick and trading down with the other pick to add a couple mid round picks. We then take a couple WR in the 2nd-4th rounds and profit.

Speaking of wide receivers, the noon game on ESPN features ECU against Virginia Tech.

Justin Hardy from ECU is going to go in the first or second round, he's incredible.

Torched South Carolina last week, and Virginia Tech is another great test for him as well.

Doesn't have ideal size (6', 6'1, 190ish) but the kid has incredible hands, body control and quick feet.

Total package as a receiver. Worth watching in between the OSU scrimmage (hopefully) against Kent.

Fuller will shut him down, like he does to everyone.

Six catches for 31 yards against VT last season.

Should be a great matchup again.

Cook may be the biggest bonehead i've had the pleasure of meeting in my entire life. Dumb as rocks, did some REALLY questionable shit to other people. He went to my high school, and I attended while he was there.. When MSU beat OSU last year, people (including his former football teammates) weren't even happy for him as an alum, I really hope he grew up a bit but damn.. It was really really bad. Huge maturity issues at that time.
