Mariota is fun as hell to watch. He seems to have every tool you could ask for, but I'm guessing the debate all year is whether or not you can spend the #1 on a guy that will have to transition from gimmick offense to a traditional system.

Week 1 is tomorrow so naturally draft talk has begun.

Amari Cooper with Browns 1st

this thread is why the Browns will never turn it around...the fans beat the draft drum and the players just go through the motions knowing they will suck

That's complete bullshit. Get off of your high horse. Talking about players good enough to make the league doesn't cause the Browns to suck. We are going to have some of these players on our team eventually. Following them through their college career and through the draft process is a continuation of our obsession with football and the Browns. There was absolutely no negativity until you pointed the first finger.

If the Browns don't' draft one of either Winston, Mariota, or Amari Cooper, I'm becoming a Steelers fan. It's not rocket science and I don't care if they drafted Johnny. Contingent on them having a top 5 pick - which if they don't from their own or the Bills' pick, they can package both to get up there.

Calling it now, the fast rising QB will be Everett Golson.

Funchess will be a 1st round WR if he declares.

Is this a new fandom threat record?

My favorite WR'ers are definitely Cooper and Parker.

Both run crisp routes, get off the line well, and have pretty natural hands.

If by the grace of God we are in the position to take him, though, I take Mariotta all day. He's going to be an absolutely special QB.
