2017 Draft Prospects Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Chances of Cook going ahead of McCaffery are slim to none. McCaffery also fits the explosive athlete mold Jackson and the Browns seemed to like in the 2016 draft.

Based on the zero running backs this regime has taken, I see your point.

However, I've made sure to never list Cook ahead of McCaffery again...because it has been decreed.

Who knew we were going to draft the exact same position year after year, might as well hope some of these WRs learn how to play OL.

Are you or are you not kayaking for Kaaya

I don't think you understood what I was trying to say.

Kaaya is the QB i like the most of the top guys, but i still doubt we take a QB, at least higher than the 4th anyways, next year

Amazing the Browns are already a year ahead of plan in terms of the draft. Knowing where you'll take guys 11 months out seems like a bold strategy.

How does next years class look for impact ILBs?

Are there some names we should be watching for?

Cool Story.

LB:

Reuben Foster - Alabama

They had to find this guy time despite having Ragland, now he's the man in that defense and could be the best they've had in a long line of good prospects.

Kendall Beckwith - LSU

This is a guy who could fall because he's not a great athlete, he's like a bigger version of Kentrell Brothers. He's just always there.

Raekwon McMillan - Ohio State

He's been a monster since stepping onto the field, he's just going to keep getting better. Great lateral range, well coached, good technique.

Nyles Morgan - Notre Dame

Breakout candidate with Jaylon Smith on to the NFL. Leader of the defense and a great athlete.

Underrated/Sleeper:

John Law - Appy State
Keith Kelsey - Louisville

I would be happy if we can get McCaffery and someone like McMillian, get a stud RB and Inside LB. I think people looking at QBs like Watson will be sad, i think Kessler is hue's guy. Some have said he had him rated right behind Goff and almost drafted him in the third.

He did draft him in the third.

Anthony Wales (RB) from Western Kentucky was really fun to watch last year. He's got really good balance and quickness out of the backfield. A late bloomer that isn't really on anyones radar, but is someone to watch in 2017. He should get more touches, as he was significantly more productive than Leon Allen last year once Allen went down to injury.

Western Kentucky has become a decent producer of RB's lately.

I can't think of the last RB from WKU to do anything in the NFL.

And that definitely matters a lot, so it's something we should pay a lot of attention to.
