Here's the thing... While your friend is an asshole for naming her kid that because it sounds dumb and is not an accepted American name and she's probably not Greek, it's a real name in another language. It's a mythological reference. Lame, but at least there's some meaning attached to it.

Miz'unique, Sir'dominic, Barkevious and D'qwell are ignorant fucking names. They're ignorant because they're made up, difficult to spell, and don't make any sense from a grammatical perspective.

The trend of overuse of le, la and unnecessary apostrophes is specific to the last two generations of black people. Me saying that doesn't mean I'm being ignorant. Look at the numbers.

White people are guilty less of making up names than of naming their kids weak ass yuppie names.

I don't hate Wyatt because it makes me think of Earp, but I get your drift.

Oh, a thing white trash people like to do is "alternative" spellings of established names. There are about a zillion different spellings of the names Ashley and Lindsey right now.

I see a lot of misuse of the letter "y" and "i' where e's should be as well.

I just don't understand why people decide their fucking kid is going to be so unique that he has to spend the rest of his/her life re-spelling their name for teachers and not getting jobs because interviewers assume they're as ignorant as the people that named them.
