So much for LeBron and Wade not being able to play together. They are both having career years from the field. #1 and #3 in PER, and Miami's now t he #3 ranked offense in the NBA. They're beginning to look great - 6-1 against .500+ teams since the 5 game losing streak. Given the remaining schedule, they also have a pretty good shot at running the table to finish off the season. That would give them 60 wins.

Why of course, tell you what, let's just forget the playoffs and the Boston's, the Chicago's, the Mavs, and the Lakers, and give the title to the Heat now. They do deserve it.

I really worry about Boston's chances come playoff time. I know they looked bad for most the year last year, but they were just getting healthy. They've looked bad recently, and Perkins is gone. That may have disrupted them more than we think. Not to mention they are now relying on Shaq to get healthy for the playoffs, and we should know that's not something you should rely on.

I think they'll be fine. . . Rondo has been pretty bad as of late but it might have to do with his pinky + they might not care as much since it's the end of the year

God I hate this fucking team. Any time you make eye contact with Wade or the Chosen 1/3 it's a foul.

I've learned to never doubt Boston's ability in the playoffs. The regular season literally means NOTHING when it comes to judging how they will play in the playoffs. I made that mistake last year.

:chuckles:

Listen, trolling is ok I guess, but you can't just make shit up. Here are the links to both of their basketball-reference pages. Neither are having career years by any stretch. LBJ especially as every single stat, including every advanced stat, is down from previous years. Don't lie bro.

If they were the same team, I'd agree with you. But they're replacing Perk with Nenad Kristc and Jeff Green. That's a pretty big move.

He said from the field... meaning shooting percentage. LeBron is at 50.3%, highest of his career (tied with last year) and Wade is shooting 49.8%, highest of his career. If LeBron continues on his current post-ASG tear (56.1% from the field) then I see no reason why he won't bump his average up a bit more.

So as of yesterday LBJ is tied for his career best in a single category. And if we are just going to look at shooting percentages, his 3-point percentage is also not a career best.

Not to mention both guys have had a massive drop in PER from their career bests.

Okay... he still said "from the field" and nothing else, and he was correct on that.

It's probably pretty difficult to have better PERs than usual when you have both of them on the same team. Both of them used to have the ball in their hands a lot more than they do this year. Hard to rack up assists if you don't have the ball. The fact that they're both in the top 3 is pretty impressive. And it's only Dwight having his best year ever that's stopping them from being 1 and 2.

Considering LeWade Boshington has to score 90% of Miami's points to win a game, they damn well better be having career years. Stupid argument imo.

PER is very highly ties to USG rate. Both have a smaller USG rate leading to lower PER. Lebron's PER per his USG is lower than past years for him. Wade is pretty much online with previous years.

I hate both these players, but facts are they are playing well right now---and as Boston seems to be imploding--they are probably going to get that #2 seed. God, I hate sports.....
