Best way to watch the Cavs this season?

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
It's streaming completely smooth and uninterrupted on my laptop (mac air) but through the wifi blu-ray with Serviio, sometimes it's really choppy. And Serviio doesn't allow fast-forwarding, so have to sit through commercials.

So the device matters. I just ordered a toggle so I can hook the laptop directly to the TV via HDMI, but is anyone else finding a device that is smooth so I don't need to leave my laptop connected to the TV? chromecast? apple tv? don't really want to buy a roku if I don't have to (sony blu-ray already does all that stuff I need).

Generally though, much higher quality picture (actual HD) than broadband league pass last year, and psyched to avoid blackouts.

Streaming Plex from my laptop to PS4 actually worked better than just streaming on the laptop itself, somehow. Might be worth a try, the Plex setup is maybe an investment of a half hour to hour of your time, but is definitely worth it. I use it for streaming TV/Movies to my PS4 as well as Ballstreams.

Submitted an invite form for Ball Streams a couple of days ago and still haven't gotten anything. Is anyone else having this problem? I'm kind of nervous with the season being only a couple of days away.

Anyone is free to use my referral code in my sig if they need one.

Hey guy my parents just got a s!mart TV so my mom said that I can use their Chromecast. Would that work with adthe.net streams? Would it work with xbmc?

BallStreams took about 3 days to send me an invite. Also works w Chromecast.

I noticed the Memphis stream in HD was choppy. I tried to watch at home at 15-20mbps, and at work 80-100mbps, and both were choppy. LowQual was fine. Other HD games were fine. So maybe it was just that stream? :dunno:

Wow guys, thank you so much for all the referrals. It's greatly, greatly appreciated!

Possibly. When you watch the streams notice on the right hand side of the stream there's an option that lets you change with servers you want to use. Sometimes it's the servers it's coming from. For example I think "West" i the default selection. Perhaps chasing the quality to 800kbps, or changing the server to Central, East or some other part of the world you might be in that's closer might work.

Just picked up a chrome cast and have tried watching the adthe.net streams. The stream are always choppy even on lowest quality. Any suggestions

If you're streaming from the tab directly to Chromecast it's not going to work very well. It never has. The streams are always choppy like that unless you can directly Chromecast the stream itself (like YouTube, etc). My suggestion would be hook up the laptop to a HDMI cable to the TV. It's more inconvenient, but you forget about it after you start watching the game on TV.

Personally for me the Chromecast feature on Ballstreams doesn't work very well. It'll be smooth, then have to buffer every 30 seconds, so I just watch the games via a HDMI cable to the TV from the laptop. Looks like live television when I do that.

Thanks for the info. My laptop doesn't have a hdmi port only vga and my TV doesn't have a vga port. I got a vga to hdmi cable off eBay but I think I need to buy some type of converter box that converts the vga signal to hdmi.

After an initial poor week or so, Ballstreams has really been great for me streaming from a Roku device. Consistent HD with no freezing, compared to SD with constant freezing.

I would highly recommend it, it's been my best purchase of the year.

Ive been using ball streams and its been great so far. Ive only watched it on my ipad and laptop. If your HD stream is choppy, turn off your ad block for the site and it should help a lot.

Hey can someone please, please let me use their acct to watch the replay of tomorrows game? Im going to be stuck taking a tax xam
