This sounds fun, but in reality is probably a bad idea. Can you imagine Big Z at 40 going up against Drummond, Dwight, or JV? He will be so slow and lumbering.... I say 80% chance it ends in embarrassment, 20% chance he can actually be effective for 10 min a night. But is that what he wants? 10 min a night? I love Z, but if this is our solution we have problems.

why are you worried about those centers? They aren't going to be in the finals. In the finals the center competition is Splitter. And if he did come back, Z wouldn't be the starter.

I have mixed feelings about this. I'd like to think that Z could be the 15th man but we already went through the whole jersey retiring thing and he hasn't played since 2011. This is one of those times I think my head needs to win out over my heart.

He was never known for speed, I mean come on.. It is entirely possible that he's in better shape now than he was in those final days. I mean, even Mike Miller looked like he was absolutely done a few seasons back. I don't believe this rumor but I also don't discount the possibility that he could play.
