Hickson's suck will not go unnoticed here.

Hibbert is posting him up. I understand Hickson is to small, but listen to what he does. Hibbert catches the ball with his back to the basket and Hickson, and I'm not making this up, BACKS UP THREE FEET AND LITERALLY GIVES HIBBERT A LITTLE HOOK SHOT WITHOUT EVEN JUMPING TO CHALLENGE THE SHOT!

I'm saying it here and now, JJ Hickson is an even worse defender than Antawn Jamison. Immediately after that play, Collison splits the double team off of the pick because Hickson decided he would go about 10 feet to wide.

Then, on offense, when Sessions called for a pick, Hickson decided he would walk out to set a screen. Sessions didn't have the time to wait and while Hickson was walking towards him just had to go ahead and drive w/o ever receiving the screen.

But hey, he's the future, don't let me tell you otherwise.

I refuse to believe that someone can defend worse than Jamison.

Hickson is 6'8. Hibbert is 7'1. Hibbert keeps hitting the same hook shot over and over that is indefensible by someone who is 6'8. There's no way to defend it. It's a mismatch.

Hickson has defensive issues, but to point at this game as evidence is just blind frustration.

But on this particular play, HIbber caught the ball, and instead of even attempting to muscle him or body him up, hickson literallybacks up by about 3 feet and gives less than no resistance. What excuse is there for that? Freaking Chuck Hayes is about 6'7 and defends as hard as he possibly can and doesn't matter the size mismatch.

The only two players on the roster I would not trade for any reason are Eyenga and Harris. Hickson and Sessions can be dealt if need be.

I'm actually starting to warm up to Samuels as well.

Hayes' lower body strength allows him to push big guys out of the paint. I don't see the same strength(or grit) in Hickson. I will say though that at times post defenders have been known to try and avoid contact early in the possession because if you ever listen to Kevin McHale talk about playing in the post, the time when he feels most comfortable is when he can feel the defender on him so he knows which way to go to counter whatever the defender may do. It could have easily been a wrinkle that JJ executed poorly that was intended to confuse Hibbert. Regardless, I don't put too much stock into how JJ defends a 7'1 guy.

Hey guys, not sure if it has been posted, but the atdhe.net domain is atdhenet.tv The feds took down atdhe's original domain, along with a few others today. Also, this game is awesome! Finally competing, at least in the 3rd, ha. I know we're all gunning for the worst recrod, but winning 2 out of 32 instead of 1, won't hurt our chances that bad. I'm really enjoying watching manny and eyenga come along (stfu, I'm trying to find some positives)
