Cops: Chiefs player kills woman, self

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
It must be nice to know Damage, that whenever you argue with someone on RCF, that you are 100% always right , and everyone else is wrong.
It wasn't even a right vs wrong thing you dildo - it was a question. I thought it was a schtick but it's not. You really are emo

Killing yourself is the most selfish thing a person can do.
How so???

(and before you or your friends go postal over the question, realize it's just that - a question - and I'm generally wondering)

I'd think murder and infidelity are probably more selfish than suicide.

I think it takes more balls to kill yourself than... say.... kiss a girl.

The woman that was Jovan's girlfriend was named Kasandra Michelle Perkins. Her child is a 3 month old baby girl. Her cousin, Whitney Golden Charles, is the wife of Jamaal Charles. Her facebook account is...

http://www.facebook.com/kasandra.m.perkins

This is absolutely tragic for the child, the friends and family, the coworkers, and the KC community. There is not other way to look at it. It is absolutely terrible. My heart goes out to all of them.

Whether it was a cowardly act, not as tragic as other events, or many of the other things being discussed in this thread is pretty immaterial. A lot of people's lives are being affected by this. Lives that will never be the same.

A Browns employee also took his own life yesterday at the teams facility. It was being talked about by those in the media this morning but the story just broke about half an hour ago. I didn't feel right about posting it in here until then.

Shut up you Anus of the highest caliber. Whenever two or more people on here disagree with you, you instantly play the part of the victim.

Lol, Jesus christ what are you, my girlfriend? Victim? Cite your damn sources and prove it. It wasn't a right vs. wrong question - it was a theoretical query (in other words, there are no right or wrong answers)

Side note: stop asking everyone for advice on how to morph your girlish frame into an acceptable male figure.

Yeasterday was a dark day. Hope that madness is over with.

I hate it, but it's a fact that there are people in this world that get effected by the things you do (i.e. your parents, family, friends, co-workers, etc). Almost everything.

Committing suicide is not only an easy way out, but you leave all those surrounding you with a burden, as large or small as that might be. Not being able to see that or simply forgetting to see that is the selfish part.

Well said (and I agree, for the record), but couldn't the person who commits suicide turn that very same argument on it's head, saying you're the selfish one? If someone is that mentally unstable that they can't wake up without hating the moment their foot hits the ground, I mean, shit - that's tough as hell to go through.

If your life is so bad and so messed up that you want to kill yourself then DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT! Make some changes to your lifestyle. There is still hope for you! Killing yourself garuntees 2 things. Eternity in hell and making all your loved deal with the crap you left behind. So irresponsible.

Yea...I can see that. It's a slippery slope; tough subject to delve into. Maybe we should start an Assisted Suicide Thread......I'm more pro-choice than pro-life......and I'm not going to argue with somebody if they want to take their own life (depending on who that person may be).

When all is said and done....I usually take the stance of 'Don't harm me, my family, or my money' - and the rest I could care less what you do. It's the approach I've found is best for me.

You are approaching this from the mindset of someone who has all their mental capabilities about them. Oftentimes in the case of suicide, there is some degree of mental illness involved. You are talking about someone who feels their life is so unsalvagebale that the only answer is put a gun to their head, jump off a bridge, cut their wrists or some other thing most people could never do. There is something wrong with their minds, so it's senseless to pass judgment as if they had a healthy mind. (I am only speaking of suicide in general, not the case of the Chiefs player who also took someone else's life. There isn't much you can do to defend those actions.)

Regarding all this talk of heaven and hell, I guess that depends on what you believe. Not everyone believes in an afterlife. But assuming the person committing suicide does believe in heaven and hell, they are probably not in the state of mind to have that be a deterrent. They have bottomed out and just want the depression/anxiety/despair/pain to end.
