Diablo 3

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Honestly, this game is great, but the random spawn rates piss me off something fierce. It took me 131 restarts to get the fireplace to have Leoric's shinbone in Act 1. Over 100+ runs to the Highlands, have yet to find the Lycecum. Christ, I haven't even had the Hanging Tree spawn for me. Some of these dungeons almost never spawn. It's ridiculous.

I assume this is for Whimsyshire?

Just when I thought I was beginning to understand the game, you go and post this. What the hell is all this stuff?

After checking Google, it looks like it's important only if you're a completionist and want to get everything in the game. Am I following you here? Or, if I don't get all this stuff, am I missing out on something awesome?

Plzhelpthx.

Leoric's shinbone is one of the 5-6 items needed for Whimsyshire.

And I'm just a completionist that needs to run every dungeon, find every tome, etc. And thus, I'm pissed. I've run through Act 1 a total of 6 times on 2 different characters. Multiple restarts for each quest to try to get dungeons to appear. I'm lucky if I get 1 out of the 10 I'm missing every 200 restarts.

Richfield, basically I'm a nerd and want everything. You're not missing out on anything awesome other than the Whimsyshire *aka Unicorn level*

I just gotta get my Gibbering Gemstone and my Liquid Rainbow and I'm off to kill Unicorns. God knows those will probably take 200 restarts each to drop too.

Got it. One of the things I hated about WoW was that you had to grind to get all the good stuff. That grind sucks balls.

So I'm at the point where I unlocked the blacksmith. Do you guys think it's worth it to start leveling him up?

Honestly in your first run, it's really not worth it. You'll eventually hit a spot where you can't level him or the jeweler until you reach Nightmare difficulty.

X, I have to admit right now that I never thought I would ever hear you say something like this.

Because of what? The fact that I want to kill Unicorns? Or you'd expect me to want to play with Unicorns? Confused.

I logged out right after I cleared Leoric's Manor in Hell difficulty and ran it four times... and got the shinbone. :chuckles:

I wouldn't have even thought about it if not for this post, so thanks!

I'm glad someone gained from my frustration.

Just an advance warning... I'm not a hardcore gamer who's 24 years old and living in his mom's basement. I'm a 42-year old casual gamer (emphasis on CASUAL) with limited time to spend worrying about the minutia of the game. So if you're looking for somebody serious to team up with, I'm probably not your guy. If you're just looking for another player to hack and slash and grab loot with, give me a shout.

So, did anyone find out what 'error 37' is?

http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/error-37

Error 37 is a meme originating from Diablo III’s release on 15 May 2012. The origin of the meme derives from an error message faced by most players when trying to login to the game. The error was caused by the overload of the battle.net login servers. The error message reads “The Servers are Busy at this time. Please try again later. (Error 37)”, as shown in the image below:

</center>
This error has caused misery to millions who have bought the game – because the login failure prevents the game from being played at all – not even for single player mode. The frustration of the Internet brought along the meme.
