Game #81: Boston Celtics @ Cleveland Cavaliers | April 12th, 2014 | [7:30 EST]

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Mike Brown finishing the season how it started

At the game behind the basket the side boston was going. It looks like nor one player cares. At a time out delly was out giving players high fives and waiters walks right passed him ignoring him...hawes and zeller are playong horrible defense..like I said these players do not care. This is so horrible igiving paying fans ashit show like this. If you lose its one thing but if you gove no effort then that is infuriating

Listen, the trend around here has been to use sketchy sample sizes to show a trend. Well, if we're going to disregard the first 55 games of the season to only count the last 25, we had better count all of them. I swear if I see people argue that we're headed in the right direction based on the last 15 games so long as you dont count the final 3, I'll lose it.

Basically, my argument is against the people who keep looking at the season in like 5 game stretches to prove just how well this season has went, or how were on the right track.

you have had gee starting in the last three.. this is just more evidence of how much value having a solid starter at three.

We still have time. Let's see what happens

You know what man, injuries happen. If by losing one starter, especially one who hasn't played all that well, we turn into one of the worst teams in the league, then the roster isn't very good, is it?

Mind asking Brown to put in Sergey? In return you"ll give him a handy.

Exactly why I don't want to commit big time money to him.

Sure, most nights he provides a nice offensive spark, but he probably gives up more than he gets us. Imagine watching Hawes guard Hibbert in a seven game series.

That's one match-up where I actually think Hawes would help us more than he would hurt us.

I don't want to commit big money to Hawes either but I see value in having a 7 footer that can stretch out defenses. I hope we can sign him for a reasonable price this offseason.

you have dion playing the majority of his minutes at three.. I would of rather seen karasev start at the three than gee honestly. its not losing one starter.. all the cavs small forwards are out. hell even scotty hopson.

as far as the roster goes. its a young developing roster.

Why not just keep Zeller for that role, though? Sure he doesn't have crazy range like Hawes (although I think it's possible that he could develop it), but we could keep him at a normal bench player salary.

This is ridiculous. I dont see why not play karasev. He cant do much worse. This is the most awful I ever seen this team play

Believe me, I thought this right after I heard about the Hawes trade. I didn't see much of a difference between what floor-spacing Zeller brought compared to what Hawes would bring but I was mistaken. The extra couple feet that Hawes provides by extending out to the 3 point line is huge.

Again, I'm open to resigning Hawes but only for a reasonable price. Definitely don't want to break the bank for him. Zeller developing a 3 point shot would negate the need to resign Hawes though.

This dude complains about every single call. Imagine how the practice session is with him.

These players have to be trying to get Brown fired

If there has ever been a golden opportunity to come back it's now. We're in the bonus with a lot of time left in the quarter.
