Totally agree. That's why I'll pay with a Greendot card. It'll have my real name on it though, but so what? It's not tied to anything.

If you're really worried you could pay with a b.s. paypal account, or a vanilla (anonymous) prepaid card.

I've been watching this skeptically to see if any RCF vets would give it a try. If both you and Ron try it, I think I may cancel league pass and give it a run for as long as it lasts.

Tried the solutions... it's definitely the network connection. I tried a download speed test for the campus wireless connection...I got a whopping 0.54 MB/s! LMAO

Luckily I have an ethernet cable on hand, and am getting 35+ MB/s on there lol

Will test it out tonight for the game, and probably post here how it goes

I'm interested. Had actually purchased league pass before realizing that the Cavs games would be blacked out. Cancelled quickly for a full refund. Does anyone know if ballstreams will allow one to watch a game (from the beginning) an hour or so after it starts. I often DVR games then start watching after the kids are in bed. We cancelled our cable service and I'm looking for the best solution. Thanks in advance.

The site says it archives every game instantly, so as soon as it's over, it's available to watch at any time. Also you can rewind to the start, so you'd be alright

Right. This makes sense. I guess I wonder if I can start watching a 7:30 game at 8:30, or if I have to wait until 9:30 or 10:00. Makes a big difference in terms of the amount of sleep I get. It sounds like I may be able to start the stream at 7:30, put the kids to bed, the rewind to the beginning?

yea, you can start from the beginning, even if the game started an hour earlier

Okay - purchased a subscription. Have two more days of cable. Going to DVR tonight's game, but only as a back up. Going to try the stream and will report back as well.

If you need a place to watch the game and don't want to deal with free streams then definitely get it! The quality is so much better than the free streams.

Signed up this morning and so far Ballstreams has performed very poorly, the lagging and buffering is like a mediocre free stream. I've got a fast machine and reasonably fast connection (Speedtest 6.29Mbs), tried different servers and browsers, rebooted Windows, etc. I've put in a support ticket, if it's not resolved today I'm going to cancel.

Well I cancelled Ballstreams. Their refund policy sucks, I was a Premium member for less than 4 hours and it cost me $10 due to their refund policy. Should've just tried it for 1 day and saved myself some money.:thumbdown

I was gonna sign up, but the preview plays terribly. Lots of hanging and whatnot. Speedtest gives me 15Mbps and I have the same issue on my macbook, mac pro, and iphone. Too bad, sounded cool.
