Harrison Barnes WILL MAKE 6 TEAMS PAY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Based off the doucheyness of his logo and nickname, I foresee an eventual name change to "The basketball player formerly known as Harrison Barnes."

I guess I'm in the minority but I don't think Barnes would've been a bad pick for the Cavs at all. He's not an explosive guy and won't ever have good handles. But, I think alongside Kyrie he would've been producing better numbers than he does alongside Curry. Plus, I think Barnes' length will allow him to be a solid defender at the 3 position. That's not to say I'm dissatisfied with Waiters. I just think you could make an argument that Barnes would've fit better next to Irving than Waiters does since Waiters seems to do better with the ball in his hands.

A better fit right away but a lower long-term ceiling.

In the NBA, a guy who plays at the guard or small forward position and can't break down his man and score on his own is a role player.

Every time I watch GS Barnes just kind of floats around.

Which pretty much is what you saw at North Carolina most of the time. Lethargic almost.

When I watch Harrison Barnes I become aroused with his potential.. My member goes from 6 to 2 and then to 10 and then settling firmly at midnight before retiring into a moist satin brief after exploding with delight.

His game is wet and I like wet. 6'8" with a spin move that reminds me of the finest chocolate fondue.

Mmmmmmm

I remember the potential of JJ Hickson and Christian Eyenga...

I'll rep any post criticizing Barnes.

I don't think many people are thinking about it as "would he have been a bad pick". Most people are looking at it as "was he the best pick". My thoughts are that Barnes makes a very reasonable 7th pick. He's probably going to contribute at some level. If the Cavs have the 7th pick this year, I hope they pick someone with his skill set. The problem is that the Cavs had the 4th pick. You kind of hope for a little more upside when you have the 4th pick.

Interesting for a guy who is being tagged by some as one who could play off the ball, he looks the best when I've seen GS when the ball is in his hands. Sure he can't take my mother off the dribble consistently but he has a nice post game and when he gets the ball against a smaller opponent, his game seems to open up. You would think that having a nice stroke would be enough for him to make a feast hitting jumpers off teams having to worry about Curry and Lee but in the games I've watched he only gets it going when he has a chance to work with the ball in his hands, ironically

Very happy to not have Barnes. The past two drafts have turned me off to draft preparation around here though. We will all be convinced that Grant will take on of two different players, but will ultimately take the player that one brave journalist tweeted as "a dark horse" the night before. Then, confused, we'll all freak out and lower our expectations about the Cavs until about February, where we will realize that Grant did his homework.

Anthony Bennett strikes me as that dark horse type of Grant pick that he'd take "too high" and would make him look like a genius. He's explosive, has a variety of tools and is overall a very versatile and efficient player. He's a guy that's been in and out of the spotlight and is currently off the radar a little bit due to a few crappy performances. If he keeps it up, I bet people shy away from him.

If Grant is going to take any dark horse, I think that's the guy. On the other hand, if he blows it up over the next couple weeks, he ain't gonna be a dark horse anymore.

Seeing as Bennett is a guy I would love for the Cavs to draft, I'm all for that. :)
