I'm just guessing here but Shump's comment about Mirotic getting out of Chicago safe wasn't meant for public consumption.

If you take out the tone and the context in reporting. you have sensationalism and manufactured controversy. Thats what Chris Haynes does and will continue to do.

I was fascinated with how the name came to be allowed as well and wanted to know if it was newly formed. If you check the Ohio secretary of state website, you'll see Northeast Ohio Media Group has existed in some fashion since 1995.

I'm not sure what it did before it was used to piss off the Cavaliers, but the name has been around for a while.

Whomever green lit it did so before it became well known like it is today.

There was a time that's what we were shooting for. We may have even got press credentials. I don't know all the specifics etc tho.
