Anyone know what Iman is referring to?

Haynes alluded in a post that Pau was faking his injury, I think.

I think both Haynes and Vardon will be one and done as NEOMG/Cavs beat writers no matter what happens after this year. There's clearly something other than what we've talked about going on between them and the Cavs and Blatt., IMO.

I am loving this cat more and more, he needs to stay in the wine and gold.

Both of these knuckleheads have generated lots of clickbait, so I doubt they're going anywhere. I guess every market's got to have a couple of shit-stirrers, and these two belong to Cleveland. Yay.

Well at least this is a new drama with new characters lol. I was getting tired of the other ones. If Iman is right about Haynes making that up, I think Haynes should be suspended or something. Have to wonder if Iman is just saying that to try and cover his butt though. Either way, it's no big deal in my mind.

We spent several days discussing a timeout Blatt never actually called and now we can spend a few days discussing a quote that Iman may or may not have even said. Wacky stuff.

If I had to speculate, I wonder if maybe Iman was speaking to another player and Haynes had a recorder going at the time. Iman probably thought he was speaking freely to a teammate and Haynes since he had it on his recording verbatim figured he could use it as a quote? Just a theory.

If Haynes is indeed making up quotes he won't be here after this season. The Cavs players and FO will refuse to talk to him for this.

Iman is referring to this, taken by Haynes off record and in a private lockerroom moment. Actually pretty shitty by Haynes.....
After the game, Shumpert was still miffed by that wrestling tactic. As he was getting dressed, he was telling James "That dude better be cool. I'm from here. I got my family here and everything. He wants to get out safe, don't he?"

It prompted a laugh from his teammates and James responded, "He must not know you're from The Chi." Mirotic was partially responsible for their demise, which allowed Irving to be a second-half spectator.

I don't know anything about the media rules on stuff like that. Obviously the players must have known the media was in the locker room with them at that moment, but what are the rules as far as what media can use and what they can't? Is anything recorded fair game?

Ok, that makes perfect sense now. Haynes crossed a line the Cavs players won't forget.

I.K.W.T. said this, too and I think you are both absolutely right.

Anything is sort of fair game in the locker room after the game. Discretion is the unwritten rule. Our job is to create the color and atmosphere for the fans. That's the sort of braggadocio the guys often share. Thankfully nobody's taken down and reported all the ppl about whom I've suggested should have their asses kicked. It wouldn't be a proud moment. As a reporter new to the team with a player relatively new to the team perceived breaches of etiquette unsurprising. Nothing to see here...
