Line-up that Harold Henderson against Josh, though.

This is just getting comical, why is this ruling not in yet?

Because they have no idea what the fuck they are doing.

I think it dragging on would be a good sign for a significant reduction in the full season suspension.. However, does anyone really know how long these NFL appeal hearings usually last, and when a decision is reached? Because usually they're not public knowledge.

If this is true we need to tar and feather Goodell. The fact that he dragged out the expansion process is bad enough.

It better be, because if it does turn out to be a year-long ban - that would than begin literally the day after the ruling, and than a year from that point. That would be unfair for the sake of rulings being made in the NFL.

No way he gets the full season suspension. They can't cut breaks on suspensions for far worse offenses, and then suspend a guy for a season for smoking pot twice. Not to mention they can't even definitively prove it.

Even if it was second hand smoke, which I don't believe. That's as lame as I was holding it for a friend. Gordon shouldn't be putting himself in these situations.

If I told you, you'd lose a years salary if you speed. Would you speed or would you go the speed limit? If I told you you're in the car and someone else is speeding you'd lose your salary for a year. Would you get in the car with someone who is known to drive fast?

Well, if I got caught going 36 in a 35 while another cop had me going 33, while Ray Rice beats up his wife and gets 2 games, I'd be pissed.

AP reporting that the hearing has ended. Now we await a verdict.

Well, as someone who hears discipline for Unions that are not nearly as diligent in finding loopholes as the NFLPA, this isn't comical and I don't expect a ruling today.

I can nearly guarantee that a committee hears what Henderson heard in the appeal in a follow-up meeting... Henderson will likely present his findings, mitigating info, related discipline history, policy receipt, etc. to Goodell and and probably the NFL legal team. So, when Goodell says that Henderson's decision is final, he probably means it; however, the info will have to get thru Goodell and will be vetted against potential legal traps by the legal team. After all of that, the discipline letter will most likely be signed by Goodell, not Henderson.

While the discipline process seems arbitrary and looks like Goodell just points his finger and says "bam" at the "employees", I guarantee it is more thorough than we all expect.

Now, what happened with Ray Rice? Amateur hour.. Can't believe/fathom that the discussion of public backlash didn't come into play..

Unfortunately the ramifications for Gordon is spelled out specifically in the CBA, ray rice's incident is not spelled out in black and white in the CBA.

My take: this is good news. But Mary Kay isn't reliable
