LeBron James

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
^^ how is LeBron not a primary ball handler? His assists/36 is the 2nd highest of his career. Kyrie and Love's turnovers are down because they both handle the ball less than they have in the past. Expect LeBron's turnovers to decline as he becomes more familiar with his new teammates as prior to this year, his two highest turnover years were the two years he had the most new teammates - his rookie year and his first year in miami.

I'm not sure how this is going to go. Kyrie sick and LeBron sick. Yikes

I kind of wanted him to miss this game. Kyrie/Love step up and get a victory for us.

Oh well. I hope he and the teams plays well and gets the win.

It didn't work out so well the last time some folks were 'looking forward to seeing the team respond' when LeBron sat down. Nah, he had his little vacation. It's time to go to work and get out of the hole we dug ourselves.

To be fair LeBron did probably have 50 lbs on Hayward and now it's more like 25.

He's also a lot better this year an probably could be a third guy on a contender.

Still Glad he said that though.
LBJ intimidated into posting up again :chuckle:

LeBron has been absolutely miserable this season at turning the ball over.

He's tied for 3rd in the league in TO's per game at 4.0. It is the highest figure of his career.

His TOV of 5.5 per 100 is the first time in his career he's broke 5.0 or higher.

His TOV% per 100 possessions is 15.3%. That is insanely high. Especially for a guy who isn't a primary ball handler.

Maybe the craziest stat though is LBJ has 40 more TO's than Kyrie on the season despite playing 6 fewer games. Yikes.

With that said, our team is in the top 10 for fewest TO's per game (13.2). That is mainly being buoyed by Love and Kyrie posting career low numbers in the category. If they normalize at all, we'd quickly become a below average team when it comes to taking care of the ball.

Where we can improve dramatically is creating turnovers. Cleveland is just #22 in the league in TO's forced (12.8 per game). That number has to come up if we're going to be an elite team.
That's not nearly as shocking when considering how much more LeBron has the ball in his hand. Kyrie's turnovers went up when LeBron was out. Basically LeBron being out there covers Kyrie being turnover prone but at this point in his career LeBron is himself

I still don't understand why people say things about LeBron that will just piss him off or motivate him? It's mind boggling... Over or under 45 from LeBron tonight?

Poor Hayward. Things may get ugly quickly for him. While LBJ may act like those type of comments don't bother him in front of the media, don't think for one second that his ego will let a comment like that slide.
