LeBron James

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I swear, it's like some people are on another planet. Did you not see the cavs w/o Lebron for 2 weeks? Even the cavs with injured lebron are far better than what Cavs showed with Kyrie and Love leading the show. Their record with and without Lebron speaks for just how impactful lebron is to the teams wins

lebron - 21-12

w/o lebron - 1-8

That's IMPACT!!

If LeBron was this healthy at the start of the season, we'd probably be at 28-14 right now. Good for 3rd in the east.

I'm so happy GH said this. If I had money to bet, I'd put a huge amount on the Cavs tonight. What a fucking moron.

To be fair to Gordon

Dave really helped the Cavs because he completely took the quote of out context, not to mention that its from November

" I’ve definitely noticed an all around difference in my game as a result of the work I put in this offseason. I can see and feel things on the court that are different. My ball handling has been a lot better, and I feel so much stronger. That was a big part being able to matchup up with LeBron.

He can’t bully me as much as he used to, and I’m able to stand my ground against him. That’s going to be huge against a lot of the bigger threes that I’ll be playing since I’ve been playing a little bit more small forward this year.
To see the work I’ve put in paying off like that, it makes me work even harder"

So he's basically he's talking about the strength work in the off-season helped prepare him for the match-up, and how the win gave him a lot of confidence

Nothing at all like a shot at LeBron.

Glad the cavs won, but the media is out of control :chuckle:

His contributions to this team have been similar, if you've watched the team this year.

LeBron has been one of the worst defenders in the league, and one of the least motivated players this year. If he was more concerned right now with winning, and less concerned with positioning his friends financially, we'd be contending with the Hawks for the first seed in the East, rather than pulling ourselves out of the .500 trench.

He's the most talented player on the planet, but he hasn't been anywhere close to the best player in the NBA this year.
Trade him

He's playing great on both ends. If only he would cut down his TO's. He's hurting his PER with his recent high turnovers rate. Other than that, he's looking like LeBron again.

I think some of those turnovers will come down slightly each month. LeBron is tryng to make the game easy for every teammate but is still in the process of fully learning what each guy can do.

For example, I'm fine every time he tries to set up an alleyoop for Tristan, but will be thrilled when stops trying to slip in low pocket passes for Tristan rolling to the hoop, as catching the ball low is just not a strength of TT. It seems like we've seen tons of TO on that play alone and as more time passes either TT will get better at handling it or LeBron will just stop trying to force it.

If LeBron was this healthy at the start of the season, we'd probably be at 28-14 right now. Good for 3rd in the east.

This healthy LeBron + not having to miss time for rest..

Cavs are 33 - 10 right now.

Blew about 5 or 6 games we could have won if LeBron was "LeBron" and then there are some teams we would have beat if he wasnt out.

However, I'm more optimistic. I think those struggles/problems were good to go through and get out of the way.

Not every team can be like the Celtics in 08 (new teammates dominate in the regular season and then go on and win a championship)

My guess: This was a Ray Allen recruitment trip.
Nailed it!!!!!

LeBron James met with Ray Allen

CLEVELAND -- While the principal reason LeBron James visited Miami during his recent two-week rest period was to seek out warmer weather while he rehabbed strains to his left knee and lower back, he also had another item on his agenda.

During James' Miami jaunt, the four-time MVP met with free agent guard and former Miami Heat teammate Ray Allen in order to try and appeal to the league's all-time leader in 3-pointers again about joining the Cavs this season, multiple sources told ESPN.com.

I just got that alert. It makes sense however if they get Allen does that mean we have to live with Delly as the back up PG?

I keep reading that Nailed it and that damn commercial where the lady has her hand made up like flo UGH! Anyways you can see it now they are running plays and systems they have adjustments and it seems Blatt has let Bron branch off on some plays and let him do his thing. He learned fast when you have a super star you have to give them the right to own the team however then all the sudden we see some plays and a meeting in the middle. Kyrie seems to be fully in and now that Bron and others are getting in he seems to care much more out there. This is such a nice thing to hear major progress now maybe we can finally bury that forsaken rant thread.

Haha that flo commercial... you ever look at LeBron's website? He's got a funny picture of Flobron featured prominently on the top. Hopefully things continue to gel... tonight's results were exciting. Not really sure how Allen fits in with the Cavs now that Cavs have Shumpert and Smith. I think LeBron made that trip before the trade was made. The Cavs could certainly figure out a way to make it all work but I'm with you and think the Cavs have bigger needs.

This is close to the greatest illustration I've ever seen:

I don't know if this was a rumor or not. But i've read somewhere that Ray Allen's conditions [to any team] involve being guaranteed to close games.. which essentially means he'd refuse to play second fiddle to J.R./Shumpert in tight games.

If Ray Allen can come out and take Mike Millers minutes, that'd be tremendous. Because Miller is a corpse for about 0-15 minutes per game.
