LeBron James

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I just got that alert. It makes sense however if they get Allen does that mean we have to live with Delly as the back up PG?

The starting lineup has played great. Maybe they are thinking of using LeBron as the backup PG (when Kyrie goes to the bench) with Ray and Shump on the floor with him.

I don't know if this was a rumor or not. But i've read somewhere that Ray Allen's conditions [to any team] involve being guaranteed to close games.. which essentially means he'd refuse to play second fiddle to J.R./Shumpert in tight games.

Josh Smith wanted to start. Those things dont tend to go the way they want.

Also it would be good to have Ray if JR Smith is just clearly off. Its good to have that other option when Smith is having a tough time making shots.

Even though he's a corpse during the regular season. I feel Miller will provide some moments in the playoffs though.

I don't even want Ray Allen at this point. Do we even need him? Once Shumpert comes back we'll have a pretty full guard rotation as it is, and strange as it is to say I think I'd rather have the version of Smith we currently have on the court than Ray Allen.

Makes no sense with Miller and Jones on the roster. Three players who would be quite redundant. If we didn't have one of Miller or Jones then it would make sense...but as the roster stands now it would make sense to add a big most of all, if not a big then a backup PG.

They did go to this last night to start the 2nd. Delly was out there but LBJ brought the ball up most of the time. It is definitely effective. While i would welcome Allen with open arms, with the way Smith has performed, we have other glaring needs. We can't expect Smith to be this productive the entire season but i still believe finding a back-up big is more important then bringing in yet another SG.

Well, it seems he had some sort of revelation during his two week vacation.

He apparently got healthy. He's now finishing at the rim, playing defense, supporting his coach (which makes the others fall in fine), and is being, well, the LBJ we expect.

good to see!

Yea, I kind of want Ray on the team for nights when Smith is off. Also there is no discounting big shots in key playoff games from Ray Allen.

Sure would have been great if Andy stayed healthy AND we got Mozgov :bigshock:

Idk. Maybe we get Jermaine O'Neal.

I have subscribed to so many conspiracy theories since the summer. One involved LeBron bolting after this season after forcing them to liquidate their assets. One involved him trying to get Blatt fired.

Newest conspiracy theory: He wanted to test Blatt. Miami had the #1 seed once in 4 years, so he doesn't care if the Cavs don't have it. He half assed the first part of the season, then took some time off. Perhaps even had his lackeys spread some rumors about wanting Lue over Blatt. Blatt (and Griff) stuck to his guns and now LeBron is ready to play for him.

The great thing about conspiracy theories is that when you actually learn the truth of a situation or to the people living the situation day to day, the vast majority of them appear to be absolutely ridiculous, to the point of comedic.

Conspiracy theories are generally the result of first world problems where people have way too much time to think about a situation that fundamentally is pretty simple.

One of my favorite videos ever. That song man :chuckle:

*tips hat*

Would be so amazing to somehow overlay Cavs players faces over cast members throughout the vid, and do the same with Ray's over the killer's.
