LeBron James

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
And Harden.

As long as LeBron sustains his current level which we all know he is capable of, By the end of the season there will be absolutely no reason to vote for Harden over LeBron. We will have the better record, LeBron will average more points and have the Higher PER.

I didn't realize LeBron was second in the league in scoring. Behind by only .6 points. I know he has scored pretty well since he came back, but it doesn't feel like he has had a "great" scoring year. He could end up leagues leading scorer if he puts up a couple big games.

Well he was at 25,2 when he went out and added around a point to that since hes been back. For Lebrons standarts thats not a great scoring year.

But the Leaugue as a whole as a down year in terms of scoring leaders.

No 30ppg guy
only 2 over 25ppg(Durant is technically too but he has played not enough games to qualify)
only 5 over 24ppg.

I'm used to 1-3 30ppg Guys, 3-5 more with 26 and another 5 with 24.

Strange year.. but its mostly due to injuries(Durant) and overall Reduced Minutes.. no one really plays 40mpg anymore(other then J.Butler) so its harder to rack up alot of points

It's good to know that we can win pretty handily even when Lebron isn't playing well.

This team coyld be more scary than the heat teams we have more of a complete roster and lebron doesnt have to do it all on most nights. Plus we are way younger too and thats a big plus

Agreed. Hopefully it all translates come playoff time.

Lebron looked a little fatigued to me tonight. I really think that we are going to have to find a way to have him playing more 'point forward' than point guard. A little less on the perimeter and more distributing from the post. That's where he was going in Miami. Not sure how well it harmonizes with the team we have though.

I'm a little worried about his turnovers. He is still adjusting to new teammates/system, so I am not hugely concerned, but that does not excuse the dribbling off of feet and careless ball handling. For medium to high usage (>20%) G/F, he is 5th out of 97 qualifying players in most turnovers per 100 possessions. Take away the two Philly guys and he is 3rd.

Obviously playmakers are going to have more of the share of turnovers, but that still seems a little high. Something worth keeping an eye on.

Hasn't really shot the ball all that well recently except in the 4th quarter of the TWolves game. I suspect that wrist is still bothering him. Wouldn't mind if Cavs sit him out the last game before the All-Star break so they can injury excuse him out of the All-star game completely

Thats not going to happen. He will play the All-Star game unless he is injured. Adam Silver and the NBA will ensure that. I didn't think he looked fatigue. He was simply in his usual chill mode and he knew the likes of Kyrie and all were doing well. So, he didn't go into his fifth gear. We will see that against the Clippers.

Not worried about his legs right now: his shot hasn't been falling and a nagging wrist injury will do that. Sprains typically take at least a 2 weeks to get fully health.

A "quality" post from realgm in response to a thread asking who would win in a series between the Dubs and Cavs.
Warriors win 5. Nobody on CLE can slow down Curry or Thompson while Igoudala, Green, Thompson can all slow down LBJ and Kyrie..

As if those guys would be able to slow LBJ, the best player in the league and participant in the last 4 NBA Finals, but no one on this roater can slow down Klay Thompson's overrated ass. :chuckle:

I would love to respond to this post if I wasn't permanently banned from that site.
