Mike Wallace to Browns?

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
What the NFL failed to update for the CBA is making the #1 pick top 10 for restricted free agents protected. SF and NE have such a large advantage for restricted free agents because a number 1 to them is not as valuable as a number 1 to us. Top 10 picks should not be part of the equation and those top 10 teams should only have to give up a 2nd round pick, or at the very least go by a points system as they use to determine point value when teams trade for picks. Shitty teams can't get better because they can't afford to lose that pick, while good teams take away top talent at a much lesser cost.
how about we just stop sucking then?

Once again, this is a case of incarceratedbob throwing a bunch of shit on a wall, and then claiming he broke the story first.

In the case of an RFA signing, the draft choice given up has to be the team's original pick; in this case, it would be the Browns' #4 pick overall. That said, if Pittsburgh signs him to only a 2nd round tender, then we would have to surrender #37 overall.

I replied to Ibob this, telling him that maybe Butch or Trader Phil would give Pittsburgh the #4 pick; however, (hopefully) not Heckert and Tusky. Imagine the fucking Stealers with Claiborne or, gulp, Richardson....

would you guys give up 37 for DeSean Jackson? it's not a rumor just a question....or would you rather get someone like Juron Criner or Ruben Randle at 37

I would do that so fast Jackson would have an orange helmet on before the ink was dry on the paperwork.

With the questions about Desean Jackson's personality and attitude...no. Especially if I was the Browns and was planning on taking a WR with their #1 or #2 first rounder. That's the kind of guy you take on when you have a nice core in place and are a couple players away from contending.

The Browns are not there yet. They don't even have a goddamn QB to throw him the ball.

I'll pass on Jackson. He had issues playing competitively consistently for a team that had championship expectations. I'd hate to see what his drive would look like after a fat contract to play on a struggling team.

If Jackson is a malcontent with Mike Vick, Andy Reid, and LeSean McCoy what the fuck is he going to do with Colt, Pat and Montario Hardesty?

Im not really a Jackson fan, but he would be a good fit across from Little. Don't mean to beat a dead horse, but if we are signing Desean, we absolutey can't be starting Colt. It just wouldn't work at all.

I think it has to do with money more than anything. He saw all those Eagle players get big money and decided to act like a bitch.

The guy seems like an overly talented 5 year old. Once he gets his money, I can still see him jogging routes. I don't ever want a player that openly quits. Regardless of what's going on...you get paid fucking millions to catch a god damn ball. DeSean Jackson is dead to me. Mike Wallace, Colston, Bowe, anyone but this fucking guy.

Sometimes one "thank" isn't enough.

UPDATED NFL RUMORS Lawrence Taylor looking to make comeback Browns on top of his list

I don't know how I feel about that, seems to be up there in age but has to be better than Jayme Mitchell.

First off, Mike Wallace SHOULD NOT, and probably will not, leave Pittsburgh. Secondly, I don't believe he'll go to a place where the chances of winning a title DECREASE (Cleveland, Denver, Indianapolis), rather than INCREASE (New York Giants, New England, Green Bay). Thirdly, I don't think the Browns need to do anything to get RGIII. I believe the draft will go:

1 Indianapolis: Andrew Luck
2 St. Louis: Justin Blackmon
3 Minnesota: Matt Kalil
4 Cleveland: Robert Griffin III

Stand pat, go after a WR or RT with #22

Pittsburgh doesn't have the cap room to make him the offer that he wants, and if they do that would be their only off season move most likely. They have $11 million in cap room this off season.
