New TV Series to watch

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Oh, you have to. Early SoA is way better than what has been on TV recent years. I would kind of relate it to Dexter. Really good early-mid. And kind of tapered off as it got into it's late seasons.

Yeah, Breaking Bad is sort of in an "elite" category w/few other shows for me.
think you meant "fell off a massive cliff"

FArgo is still pretty enjoyable three episodes in. Billy Bob is doing a solid job thus far.

It doesn't look like the elites like mad men, breaking bad or anything but it's a pretty entertaining show.
billy bob has been excellent. that role was cast so well.

to be fair, breaking bad and mad men are among the best shows ever, so pretty unlikely this - or any new show - matches them. still very good and definitely worth watching though.

Hannibal had a rough spot towards the middle of this year but the last episode or two have been great. Especially since they introduced Mason Verger. Hoping it gets a 3rd season.

Finally got HBO GO and got around to watching Six Feet Under. If you like a good honest character drama, I highly reccomend it. Love it about 8 episodes in. Michael C. Hall really steals the show IMO.

a lot of the focus on hbo's glory years is on the wire, the sopranos, sex and the city, entourage (lol), etc - and rightfully so - but some of the other stuff airing during that time is really under-appreciated like six feet under, deadwood, and oz.

even in recent years, of course everyone talks about GoT, boardwalk, and girls. but veep (still airing), bored to death, and treme were all excellent too.

There's no Mad Men thread and I don't want to start one unless there is a lot of interest, but I just have to inquire...wtf just happened on that episode? I mean the last time we saw Megan and Don together, she was kicking him out, and then this episode he calls her an she acts like nothing ever happened and so does he. Dude cutting his own nipple off. Odd ball 3-way. Was that episode all a dream or something?

I'm afraid to go to the doctor now after watching House. I'll probably go in with just a normal flu, and it will take them 2 weeks to figure out what it is, and I'll be dead by then. They will think its something way worse than it actually is, and I'll be pumped full of all kinds of drugs that cause me to have a severe reaction and go into shock and nearly die. Then by the time they figure out it was just the flu, it will be too late because they made it way worse.

Agreed. It's well written and directed. Martin Freeman (Watson from BBC's Sherlock) is solid, too. It's definitely worth watching.

Turи is good, too. It took awhile for the plot to develop, with some episodes being a bit disjointed because of it. But, it seems to be coming into it's own now.

It starts off good, then it kind of misses.
The very last episode is odd-- the last 10mins or so.
I thought the whole thing was awesome. Maybe a few hiccups in Mexico but it was always supposed to be absurd.
