    "Expert" Analysis

After dropping a close game to Brooklyn, the Cavs look to rebound against the worst road team in basketball, the Sacramento Kings. With us having Varejao out, and them having Evans and Thornton out for this one, look for Kyrie and Dion, and Cousins and Thomas, respectively, to get a notable increase in shots for this one. Having Varejao's defense and rebounding missing is actually quite a large factor for this one. Look for Keith Smart's team to pound the ball in to Cousins early and often, challenging Zeller to stop him. Also, look for Kyrie v. Thomas in the backcourt battle. Neither are a great defender, and both have been scoring at will in recent matchups late December. Thompson v. Thompson is a virtual wash. Salmons may bother Dion, but Dion will also likely bother Salmons as well. Gee should get the best of Garcia.

I submitted it in segments. I'm nearly completed. Just need to put up the bench.

Finally, responding to Dion's poor shot selection and CJ's hot streak.

Surprised it didn't happen sooner honestly. Scott typically makes players earn their starting roles. Dion flat out hasn't.

Watching Zeller warm up, I'm thinking that I could abuse him in the post

I guess we have our Harden now. [IMG]

I am not pleased. Picking the 6th man 4th in the draft isn't good.

I think CJ starting is more of a reward for CJ's play of late as opposed to a punishment for Dion. It sends a message though. Dion hasn't earned his spot lately.

I really do think Dion was drafted to be our long-term sixth man. A difference-maker and one of our leading scorers as a sixth man, but a sixth man nonetheless. We also get to watch the definitely-positively-absolutely-not-available DeMarcus Cousins, which is pretty cool.

With the 4th pick, though? Goodness.

I think people need to relax. It's not as if Dion is the only guy picked in the top five of the draft who has spent time coming off the bench. Beal and MKG have as well, and I didn't see Thomas Robinson starting tonight.

When a young player is struggling, sometimes the best thing to do is bring him off the bench to try and light a fire under him.

Seriously, red, this is exactly what I meant about Cleveland fans overreacting to every little thing. Dion comes off the bench for a single game and all of a sudden he will never be anything other than a sixth man. Give me a fucking break.

Edit: Also, sixth man doesn't necessarily mean sixth best player. Calm down.
