The 2015 Cleveland Indians

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Just some minor moves that have been happening over the past few days (outside of the Tito extension):

- J.B. Shuck claimed off waivers by the White Sox
- Chris Gimenez outrighted off the 40-man roster
- Tyler Cloyd re-signed with a ST invite

The authentic jerseys have Chief Wahoo on the shoulder. The cheaper, less offensive replica jerseys do not.

Buying all the chief wahoo gear I can crew

Brantley and Gomes are Silver Sluggers. First time Tribe have two in the same year since 2000 (Ramirez and Alomar)

Indians Bullpen Coach

Juan Uribe?

I get the lack of plate discipline (although Lonnie has similar issues), but I'd say he's pretty good with the glove. He was Wilson's Defensive Player of the Year at 3B and a Gold Glove finalist.

Uribe led major league third baseman in defensive runs saved (17), was tied with Nolan Arenado atop baseball in total zone rating (+10), and was third in baseball in UZR (+12.6, tops in the National League). Uribe was a finalist for NL Gold Glove at third base, but lost to Arenado.

I'd say he'd be a significant defensive upgrade at 3B and would allow Lonnie to get ABs at not only 3B but also 1B, DH, and possibly corner OF. He's only signed for 2015, so he'd be a veteran stopgap until (hopefully) Urshela is ready.

I'm not saying to trade Lindor for him (or any top prospects for that matter), but I think he'd be a nice addition assuming the Dodgers' asking price is reasonable.

Uribe is great with the glove, but he's aging, out of shape and due for a dramatic decline offensive to his career mean.

You've got a guy 10 years younger who's progressing in both facets of the game making a fraction of what Uribe does.

Indians win the WS next year. I have a funny feeling.

And you know I usually predict them to suck.
