Addressing the hole at center

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
We're going to run small and push the pace to take the center out of the game. The cavs aren't going to get a center.

Kyrylo Fesenko has been looking good in the last couple Summer League games.

I wanted Dieng over Karasev. I am starting to hate the Zeller trade a lot. Signing all these has been s from the Heat is making it worse. I really get the impression that Griff is going to trade all our young guys for vets.

I normally like your posts, but there are a lot of problems with this logic. Sure, Zeller looked like he can be a solid 3rd bigman. He wasn't traded because he is hopelessin Griffin's eyes, he was traded because he has value. Same with Karasev: I hate to say what Max has told me in confidence, but pretty much all last year Prokarov was trying to pry Karasev away from the Cavs. The Cavaliers hoped Karasev would develop in Cleveland, but they knew the Nets would treat him like a protected lottery pick if they ever needed to shake up the roster. Dieng worked out very well for the Cavaliers and he was certainly on the short list at the 19 spot, but Karasev, like Zeller, was crucial to shaking up the roster to get LeBron. Their development and value in the league was higher than you would think, which is why the Cavaliers still have the Memphis and Miami first round picks.

And this would be effective against most teams in the NBA. There are still plenty of centers that can't run the floor well. And those big guys get tired of running more quickly. Though I do expect them to add another big, but one that can run.

I get that. I'd have rather given up an additional pick I think. Neither the Miami or Memphis pick looks as valuable as they did a month ago. Karasev a lottery pick? So we got an expiring contract for a lottery pick that we had to dump with more assets? Don't forget Max didn't like this trade either.

Griffin is burning through assets building your Miami Heat, so that we don't have anything after LeBron is done. Just
Think about all the Assets sunk into the 4 position if we get Love. Nothing has gone to the 5, and we gave up a skilled 7 footer just to clear cap. They have only signed wings in the meantime.

I really thought we were in a position to have a good sustainable team for the future, but instead we are seeking the farm on a one year deal and setting ourselves up for massive tax implications immediately.

Saw the The Bullshit Whisperer report (for whatever that's worth) that the Cavs are interested in Oden. I watched his highlights from last year and was stunned at his mobility. Any chance the Clinic can revive this guy? For as many surgeries as he's had his legs still look lively.

Here's a trade that I would recommend as an alternative to this Kevin Love deal.
Try to acquire DeAndre Jordan. Jordan is a double double big-bodied rim protector that is the leagues leading rebounder (I think).
You could offer Bennett, Haywood (and his special contract), a 1st round pick.

What do yo like better?
Lineup A:
Kyrie/Delly
Dion/Wiggins/Harris
LBJ/Miller/Jones
TT
Jordan/Andy

Or Lineup B:
Kyrie/Delly
Dion/Harris
LBJ/Miller/Jones
Love
Andy
(Don't know about you, but this looks thin to me.)

Pistons laugh at you and instead of hanging up continue to make fun of you until you hang up.
