The Official Game of Thrones [A Song of Ice and Fire] Thread (includes spoilers)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I've talked about this 45 times but music in cinema is a huge tell and sign.

Melisandre's music, the music that plays when people look into the flames, or when Beric is raised from the dead..it's not "good guy" music. It's pretty clear dark, ominous music.

I dunno. I just feel like the Lord of Light is not a good guy. Whatever he may be. Not that his followers know it (though I think Kinvara might) or not.

Hope we get to see more Kinvara this season. She was nice.

So, I'm sure that someone has realized this FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR before me, but I'm starting my rewatch, and I don't think it's a coincidence and I'm sure there is a reason for it.

Are the direwolves dying in season one an omen as to who lives and who dies? Obviously Ned is a gonner, and the pups are later all killed. The only one that has survived was Nymeria, who ran away. Then, of course, Ghost.

I'm assuming this is some sort of foreshaddowing?

Lady was the first one to go...

A beautiful character who is revealed to be ugly is always a villain. The fact Stannis killed his daughter is so messed up and obviously not good.

The issue I have, is Jon Snow evil. Or has he been revived by evil. IF the Lord of Light is bad, why would he revive a "good" guy. I can only imagine Dany is the real hero and Snow leads to her downfall.

Why would the light bringer be against the dragon tho?

Beric seems like a decent dude. Is he “evil” as well?

Yeah kinda my point. Seems like there is conflicting info. Seems weird that right after Melisandra has her faith tested as she burned a little girl and then lost that battle, that she would redeem herself by bringing Snow back to life. I dunno. I guess there is also the point that nothing is all good or all evil. Some people think the Night King might turn out to be the good guy.

Or having visions is just an ominous sort of thing that plays well with darker music?

I wish these were all an hour longer.

The theory I remember from waaaay back was that the wolves symbolize the link to the North/Family. Sansa lost hers first because she drifted from her family. Nymeria and Arya separated when she abandoned Westeros for Essos.

The other wolves died when their partner died. I fully expect Nymeria to return at some point now that Arya is in the North again. And I wouldn't be surprised if she bonded with Sansa if Arya is killed.

Or that there really isn't a good guy at all, just different beings acting in their own subjective best interests.

It's been my feeling for a while now as to Why Sansa and Bran will die. Pretty much only that too.
