The "What are you playing now?" Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
If you're looking for open world, good gameplay, and a great storyline. Get Inquisition.

Hell I'd play through all of them if I were you. First one heavily, heavily borrowed from Game of Thrones (the book, don't think the show was out yet). Even in terms of how they spell Ser. To this day it remains one of my favorites. It also offers more of a differing storyline based on character creation. Playing a Mage will give you different options than playing a warrior. Also you can import your character game to game. You also have options like Human Nobleman, Human orphan, stuff like that.

Second one is way weaker, but still alright. 3rd one is just massive and a GoY candidate.

God damn you are making me want to go out and buy this game right now. I've yet to play it, have only seen a couple of trailers.

Loved the first one. Beat it several times with several different characters.

The second one was a bitter disappointment and ended up getting returned to the store upon completion of the main campaign (didn't even bother with any side quests or anything, because I wanted to be done with it that quickly).

Off topic, but seeing as we are talking about BioWare games, I would love it if they came out with a remastered version of the Mass Effect trilogy for the next gen consoles. I'd have the fucking ultimate nerd edition pre-ordered like 8 months in advance. :chuckle:

I love BioWare. I had no interest in being a gam developer, but I happened across a job listing for being one of their writers.

You had to use the software they provided to write a short game, I think they wanted it to be about 10 minutes. They also stated they didn't care about the quality of the game, just the story you sent with it.

Sadly I wasn't hired or I'm pretty sure I would have been writing for the old republic.

I do remember you talking about that opening awhile back. What an awesome job that would be. I wouldn't be sad about being a part of The Old Republic or Mass Effect 4.

You know we have a Bioware employee on these forums right guys?

That said, never help anyone online develop a story for a game they are working on. Unless you've got a contract in hand, don't screw yourself over. Just speaking from experience there.

*edit* Fuck you CliffyB

Finally gonna start Shadow of Mordor today I think.

Fuck school. I have a bunch of games- GTAV on Xbone, Far Cry 4, Inquisition, and the remastered Halo games just sitting next to my TV or on my Xbone, and I literally have no time to play them.

Thank god for 4 months off school for summer. I'm counting down already. 14 weeks...

Just wait until you graduate and get a job. It's basically the same thing except you don't have a summer vacation to look forward to.

Here is a list of the games I started since fall and haven't finished yet:

Shadow of Mordor
Advanced Warfare
Wasteland 2
Inquisition
Far Cry 4
GTA V
Alien Isolation
Sunset Overdrive
Assassin's Creed Unity

I'm probably missing a couple, but for fuck's sake I need more time in my life. The worst part is that like every game on that list is twenty hours long or more except for Advanced Warfare.

Plus there's still the 300 other games I never finished on my Steam profile. :chuckle:

I actually think I'll have more time. Depends on the job. When I come home from school at 3-4 pm that is just the fucking start of it that's the thing, that is when studying and homework and stressing over projects and shit starts. Can't wait until I have a job/career to be honest. But then you add in having a family and all that. :chuckle: Real world sucks!

It helps that I really only play or have interest in a select few video games. It's been a long ass time since I've been a hardcore gamer. I think I'm just gonna start Inquisition and nibble away at it, an hour here and an hour there. Save the other games for summer break.

Can't play DA:I like that.

You say it's only going to be an hour. That turns into four hours. It just happens.

I kind of figured. I just don't want to wait till summer to play it. Ugh

Having a blast with Shadow of Mordor so far.

Can you sell a steam profile if you're ever broke? Seriously, I wonder what you could get for that monstrosity.

Does anybody have any thoughts on dead rising 3?

Solid game. A little buggy at times, but still a great game overall.

Was the sole reason I bought my Xbox One, had I known I could've waited and it would've came to PC...
