The "What are you playing now?" Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Well, that and it's one of the only games I can play repeatedly and not really get bored with it. Also, I'm good at it, which means I don't have to try very hard if I'm just in the mood to game casually.

I gotta play that game again, especially with you wrecking people lol so many head shots with the sniper rifle

I'm better with the bow and arrow than the sniper rifle. Got over 17,000 kills with my strange bow. :chuckle:

Sounds like me with far cry 3. Sniper rifle? Sure im good with it. Recurve bow? Run and fucking hide, but it won't matter because I'll kill you anyway.

My roommate walked in on me doing the running slide while getting a head shot on a guard in a tower who did have a sniper rifle. He about shit his pants. I basically play that whole game with the bow except the missions where you have to use a certain weapon.

Haha yeah games with a bow and arrow are always more fun. The one in Crysis 3 is ridiculously overpowered and you can pretty much get through the whole game using nothing else.

In TF2 the bow can just be monstrous. There are maps where it's not great because they're too wide open and because most classes in TF2 are a lot more mobile than your average shooter (Soldiers can rocket jump, Demomen can sticky jump, Scouts move fast and can double jump, and the list goes on), but on smaller maps with lost of choke points, you can absolutely annihilate people with it.

There's not much that's more satisfying than strafing around a corner with your arrow knocked and planting it right in the forehead of the unsuspecting guy who's running toward you. Air headshots are the best, though. They're tough to pull off, but always feel amazing.

More games I should try, I have so many on my list. I'm about to have my appendix out in like 30 minutes so I'll have a couple days off work to play around.

Street fighter 3 online... ultra sfiv.. marvel.

Trying to play Far Cry 4 but it crashes my PC when loading....]

NVM, Forced vertical sync on through NVIDIA control panel and it's working now.

I know it's an older game but an body play dead rising 3 for Xbox one? I gotta amazon gift card for xmas and can get it for 25 bucks.

I mentioned it on here before, but The Swapper is now free this month for all PS4 users. Get that ish.

I'm pretty much addicted to Dragon Age Inquisition. Was wary because I LOVED origins but hated Dragon Age 2. This game improves and all of my gripes about DA 2 and then some.

About 45 hours in and still have so much to do.

God damn Xbox One for not shutting off. It says I have 400 hours, but I'm really closer to 60+. I still haven't even started the Western Approach yet. Insane how big this is. And let me say, Dragons are ridiculously hard.

I've pretty much gone everywhere except Emerald Graves and Emprise Du Lion, but I still have a ton of exploring to do in a lot of places. Figured I'll clear out a bunch of the less interesting quests before the end game if I feel like being a completionist.

Yeah Dragons are hard, I've only beaten one and I was like 2 levels higher than it on normal difficulty. :chuckle:

Yeah, I haven't touched Emerald Graves I don't think, doing Emprise Du Lion now. There's one of the boards that has you end up killing 3 dragons. I've taken out the one in the hinterlands, and 3 of them here, and one at the south end of whatever map has the sunken city I think.

For someone who's never played any of the Dragon Age games, any chance you can breakdown a few questions for me? I've been keen to buy it but need that final push of convincing! Is it open world? Do you follow a storyline? What exactly is your character trying to accomplish? I've seen the customization options but how does what kind of character you play as affect the game as a whole?

May actually go out later on and buy it but just want to be sure that it's the kind of game I'll get my moneys worth from.

You have a basic storyline that you have to follow. Each area is pretty massive and contains a lot of sidequests/things to track down etc.

Basically there was a rift that opened, your character is cursed/blessed with the ability to close said rifts. Now you must stop super evil bad guy from destroying the world.

As for what kind of character you play, it only would affect story changes with who you romance, choose to save/kill etc. Being a marge/archer/warrior doesn't affect how the storyline is going to progress.

If you are an RPG fan at all, get Dragon Age. It is by far one of the best games of the year.
