Tristan Thompson

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Offense killer. When teams dig in spacing just dies with him. Everything he does is fools gold

We're literally an elite team when he doesn't play. When he does we're now we'll below 500

The correlation between TT coming back and the complete demise of what we saw before he came back in terms of ball movement and beautiful offensive sets, and solid team defense, can't be understated.

TT is just a horrible fit for this team, period. Add to that the attempt to integrate the horribly failing IT and you get the kinds of losses and blow-outs we've been witnessing.

They can't move this guy off the team soon enough. Get a real rim protector who can score even a little (besides put-backs) and it changes the entire dynamic of the team.

I don't think he's a horrible fit specifically for this team, I think he's a horrible fit for any team in the modern NBA, I don't think he brings anything to a team that warrants giving him minutes, really believe he'll be out the league when his horrendous contract ends

Yeah, Tristan's worth dropped a lot in the Finals last season, and now it's just so apparent that he needs to be moved; he brings nothing to the table now that the team desperately needs. Much as I loved this guy's offensive rebound hustle plays during the Cavs' best times, it's time to move on. Same with JR. They served their purpose in the past, but we're in the present, and we cannot be giving those guys lots of play time anymore. Whatever flashes they show a game here and a game there cannot make up for the constant negatives everywhere and every time else.

Do you really think that we were 'an elite team' before the return of TT? C'mon guys...we were exactly the same team with the same problems.

I agree we have problems but he doesn't fix any of them, and the bench lineup did look pretty good, making up deficits regularly. The problem is our starters were getting deficits and in the playoffs the bench matters less and less as it progresses

TT is not a great piece of our roster anymore, that's clear, but you can't start with Love as a center instead of him. We need a center and he's the only one...until you have him you have to start him. We had the 'best' moments in the last 3 games with him on the floor. He doesn't fix any problems, that's true, but you have a decent balance on the floor with him...something that we don't have with the starting five (and the 2unit) anymore.

The main problem with TT is that he offers no threat on offense and allows his man to overplay toward the ball causing increase difficulty for our limited ability to create individually in the first place. This doesn't include the other liabilities

Korver went from a 6th man of year caliber kind of guy to someone who looks old thanks to TT.
TT has put a mortal kombat finishing move on Kyle's season
