A closer look at Harrison Barnes

One thing I notice about Barnes and Terrence Jones......Those guys have NBA bodies RIGHT NOW. Alot a guys have in their scouting report "Needs to bulk up to make it" Those 2 guys have the size right now, thats y I like them at SF.
 
Sounds like Barnes would be a really good pick for us then...probably won't be worthy of a top four pick unless he really picks it up....but an athletic 2/3 swingman who can play good defense? Sign me up...

Terrence Jones is interesting too...

lots of raptor fans are clamoring over this dude just because of his defensive abilities and astounding wingspan.
but you cavs wont like him... just give him to us, and perry jones as well ;)
 
Thanks for the mix, first one I've seen showing NCAA highlights.

He seems to have a pretty impressive pullup jumper off the dribble, which is a skill that not a lot of college kids have. Those are definitely "NBA" shots that he is making, especially if he can come out and play the two guard.

And he's a good defender? I'm on board. Maybe if there's nothing good where we are drafting we can trade down.

hey toronto and cleveland have alot in common, both of our franchise players were pussies, we should have a beer

btw the player im talking about is carter, not bosh, because hes not a franchise player

I wish a team would pay me the max to rebound and shoot midrange jumpers.....Bosh dont do crap man.
 
Barnes game is improving each game. He should have had more points than the stat line showed. He had a couple three's rattle out, and I don't know how. He looked comfortable driving, and has a real nice mid range game. What impressed was his court vision and passing ability.

He is really elevating on my board. He is much more physical and athletic in person.
 
He does seem to be improving as the season goes on. I'm really rooting for him to tear things up for the rest of the season because it would take a huge leap of faith to draft him in the top 5 at this point.
