A closer look at Harrison Barnes

Barnes lacks quickness with his movements and explosiveness off the floor. He's not a dead-eye shot and frankly doesn't look anything like a top-10 worthy pick.
 
Barnes with yet another 3-10 shooting night.

Marshall and Zoeller look much better.
 
Ugly game so far. Not a good game for Barnes on the offensive end. Way too much indecision and too tentative.
 
There is no way Barnes is a top 4 pick based on what he has done so far this year.
 
I'll pass, but it's surprising to me how poorly he is shooting because I think he has a very smooth looking jump shot.
 
Im starting to warm up to Barnes, the kid is an Elite defender, has a great mid range jumper, if he can improve his 3 Point shot he could be a very good SG in the NBA he lives out on the perimeter to much to be a 3. Roy Williams system is made more for his big guys and PGs to dominate not so much his wings so i could see why Barnes hasnt dominated like many thought he would. Barnes stock is going to rise at the NBA combine because of his shooting abillity and D and Chad Ford says the Cavs are pretty high on him so if we dont get the #1 overall i think he is going to end up being our 1st pick

Would anyone consider Barnes a lottery pick even in this weak draft based on what he has done this season alone? I doubt it: he's still highly regarded from what people thought of him coming into his freshman year. He's another guy like Jones who would seriously benefit from another year of grooming to really show that he can dominate less competition
 
Another decent game for Harrison last night. He started a little slow but heated up as the gamevwent on. He has such a silky smooth stroke. His defense is superb and his passing skills are getting better. I am really looking forward to how he shows in the ACC tourney. I will be there for that.

Oh and it's rumored Kyrie might be playing in it too.

23 shots to get 21 points is not something to get excited about no matter how smooth he looked IMO. I'm willing to reevaluate based on his performance in the ACC and NCAA tournaments but right now I'm not hoping the Cavs draft him with either of our lottery picks
