I got to say that was a great dunk by wade.

OKC is definitely for real. Ibaka and Perkins is one of the toughest defensive frontcourts in the NBA.

I don't feel like either team is playing very well, but OKC is definitely hitting their open shots better than Miami. Miller and Bibby are both 0/2 from three.

I love the way OKC has played their interior defense tonight vs these guys... Having a legit shot blocker out there is so key against these guys...

Looks like its that time again! The NBA should get rid of East vs West matchups until the finals, I would love to see these two teams have a playoff series but we all know the Cheat aint making the finals :chuckles:

Seriously, there should be a rule instituted just for Wade preventing him from whining to the officials every time there is a no foul called.

Another masterful performance by the Heat. They played with such skill and aplomb that the '92 Dream Team was caught in the stands taking notes. Amazing offensive versatility. Such heart, valor, even chivalry. I'm simply not sure basketball has ever witnessed a team performance so amazing and dominant as the one it witnessed tonight by the Heat.

As for the greatness that is LeBron James and Dwayne Wade, there are hardly enough words in the English language to describe it. I mean, there was that one time when LeBron did the "bitter dunk face." There was that other time when Wade did the hula dance. Sheer brilliance.

Of course, the Heat did actually lose the game, but that is to be expected. After all, the pressure that these men feel can only be compared to the pressure a submarine feels at the bottom of the ocean. If the Heat lose, it might actually cause a galatic catastrophe. Even the people in Japan are more focused on the Heat than their own problem. So it is no surprise they overlooked the Thunder tonight. Who wouldn't?

OKC is damn impressive after the trade. The front court is LONG and TOUGH. Heck, the back court is LONG as well. OKC might be the longest team in the league front to back now. I would hate to be the team who has to play them first in the playoffs, then second, then third. They have 14 more games to get Perk and co. acclimated to the system. I can't even imagine how good they could be at that point.

Wade? LOL The dude got most every call the entire game, BUT the one call that was the most obvious foul not called. :chuckles: How can a guy cry and whine like he did after getting the most favorable calls all game? Amazing.

When OKC wants to play defense, they will be damn tough to beat.

Hubie is a homer of basketball. . . he likes everything and everyone way too much

The best was that play in the first half where Lebron knocked the ball away from Durant, who rebounded it off the face of Magloire I think, and then layed it in. Hubie was extolling that play as part of the beautiful game. I had to laugh. It was a Bill Waltonesque call.

Also it isn't out of the realm of possiblity that Kendrick Perkins ends up getting a ring over his former teammates this year. OKC is in that group of teams who could win a title. Right now I would say the title race is wide open. There's any of about 7 teams that could win it all this year, which hasn't happened in like....a very long time.

As Magic would say, "NBA BASKETBALL IS BACK!!"
