Game 5| Bobcats @ Cavs Jan. 3rd 7 pm EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
With this being Game 1 of a 3 Games in 4 nights stretch, I'm totally in support of Scott's decision to ride with the second unit and let the starters rest up for the game tomorrow. Plus, it continues to foster the attitude of "do not make a mess for the other unit to clean up, the time you spend on the court is not just to hold even, you are expected to win the battles and not look to the bench for help"

It also provides everyone one the team with an opportunity to showcase their talents if other teams start to pay attention to some of the tradeable assets on this team.

Great win against a seemingly lesser team. Those are the ones we have to win

Remember this is the easiest part of our schedule. The losses will come folks, chill.

The thing the most impresses me about Thompson is not the points he scoring around the basket...it's how well he is getting himself in a good position under the basket.

I really want to see Kyrie and TT develop some chemistry together in about 10 games or so...

Shoutout to Cavs fans wanting to draft Williams and Knight. Grant ate yer lunch.

johnhollinger John Hollinger
Really like what I saw from Cleveland tonight, other than the part where Ryan Hollins inexplicably played the entire 4th quarter.

The Cavs had 9 turnovers for the game. It should surprise no one that Caspi and Hollins in their combined 30 minutes had 6 of those 9.

When the Cavs hit their back-to-back-to-back games, we'll see what we've got (i.e. are the Cavs too good to land a high lottery pick?). One downer: AV obviously loves playing with Kyrie, but he's just not a part of the rebuilding effort. In any event, I want to see KI, Gee and Thompson play together. I'd like to work a deal for Cousins if we're not bad enough to land Drummond. And I'd really love to see Hollins' full array of sport coats.

On the contrary, I think that Varejao will be here for the long haul.

I love AV, but he's twenty-nine and injury prone. If we were a destination for FA's, I'd keep him, but we need to maximize the trade value of every developed player on this team. AV could put a contender over the top (would love him on OKC or the Clips). The Cavs need to be aggressive traders; it's the only way to compete with the CAA-anointed superteams.
