Im sure he has, but weve NEVER SEEN HIM SIT OUT A LARGE PORTION OF A CLOSE NBA FINALS GAME......

c'mon it makes no feaking sense ....outside of residual decision anger....

All part of the storyline. The little Willis Reed twist is supposed to add to the drama. This fight is more crooked than Pacquiao vs. Bradley. More crooked than the Hulkster vs. Rowdy Roddy.

Hate to say it, but the Heat just made better plays tonight, while OKC has been unlucky. Feels like the Orlando series all over again.

However, Westbrook only ending up with 3 free throws is a travesty in every sense of the word.

Durant really needs to man up. His rebounding is pathetic. The Thunder cannot play small because Durant cannot get enough rebounds for them to be able to do so.

The dude is 6'11 with a 7'4 wingspan and he has 11 rebounds in the last three games. LeBron has 31 rebounds in those three games. 20 rebound difference... How is Durant that bad at rebounding?

Maybe I'm missing it, but he seems to play most of the time on the outside when on defense. Whereas James often plays down low, esp. with a smaller lineup. Durant is obviously very thin, so I'm sure that prevent him some, but this seems to be the overarching reason -- He's generally not down there too much, or so it seems. And if he is supposed to be playing down low, then I guess there's your answer.

I think Durant could rebound a little better, but I think it's a team wide problem. No one on OKC boxes out or bodies up their man worth a damn save Perkins. OKC is too worried about getting back in transition (either offense or defense) to bother putting enough effort into rebounding. I can't count how many times I've watched Wade or LeBitch come flying into the paint from the top of the arc to grab a rebound for any easy putback this series. Just terrible. So many easy points for Miami (at crucial points in game) could have gone the other way if the Thunder would have bothered to man up through the end of every defensive possession.

Durant could have alot of potential as a defender. LeBron wasn't the best defender at his age either. LeBron got really good though, and great players usually do. I think thats the major difference between them right now. LeBron does alot of other stuff on offense too, but if Durant could utilize his size, length, and quickness on D, he could become just as unique on D as he is at offense.

Agreed. It's amazing how even guys like Bosh have had their way on the boards, lots of sitting back and worrying about the transition game or not committing a foul. I know its a useless comparison, but its this lackluster effort on the boards that allowed us to beat them w/o Andy and Jamison yes Jamison playing as our 5. I just pulled up the stats and we outrebounded them 51-40 that game.

Westbrook is so hot and cold. One game he will score 50 points and the next game he might score 10. You just never know with that guy. KD is always a cool 25 to 35 points guaranteed.

Miami are just better than OKC, the experience comes into play, it's a year early for OKC.

Cavs fans shouldn't really be upset about lebron winning a ring. He has moved on, and so have you guys, you can only congratulate and move on. In all honesty, he was bound to win a ring someday as he is too good to end up ringless and also you can just tell it was his time with the way things went down in the EC. Rose being out, Howard being out, Celtics losing players etc...

Whilst we all know how him leaving went down and how classless he was, we all make mistakes and its not something that you should hold on forever. I am not saying be a fan of the guy, no way, but don't be all bitter about it as that was two years ago and all parties have moved on.

You just have to build around Kyrie Irving and try and emulate the OKC formula with Durant and Russ.

I don't know about you, but it is something I think about, and I'm sure many others too. Wish I didn't, but it is what it is. I care about the image of my city, and hate that it is almost always being seen negatively.

+1, and remember how people were worried the letter would affect if we could get free agents? FAs do watch ESPN, and front offices are going to remind them of it to do whatever it takes to sway them.

(Before you say "but we can't get free agents anyway!!" being able to retain them counts, and there is a difference between being at the absolute bottom and being able to at least beat teams like Washington, Minnesota, Charlotte, Milwaukee, etc. out for them.)

Eh. Its been two years, and I havent really noticed anything regarding free agency wrt the letter. Then again the cavs havent really gone after any FAs besides Parker. But still, I would think they would be able to retain players because pretty much every player has nothing but great things to say about cleveland and the organization.

Yeah...I'm bummed he is going to win his ring. And I'm frustrated as hell the series was gift-wrapped.

LeBron is going to get his ring, and as he so eloquently said last year "I have to go back to my same life while he does the things he does." He wins this time.

It kind of feels like when Man-Ram went to Boston and got his World Series title x 1000. I'm going to be bitter for a few months, the draft won't be nearly as exciting, and the NBA won't be as much fun rooting against him winning a title. I do think ratings will fall off considerably in the future now that he closed the deal.
