Man Executes Two Teen Intruders

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Some people on this board watch too many movies or something. Anyone ever heard of punishment fitting the crime? I agree that they deserved to be shot for intruding and the threat being unknown... but if you're ok with the execution aspect... well, then I want the cops investigating you as well.

These children/young adults didn't deserve THAT. This isn't a video game. Getting your head blown away at 18 for robbing 1,000 houses is beyond excessive.

Shitt, unless you're me. I got picked up (at least) 2 times before I turned 21 for being far too drunk in public.. Spent about 11 hours in jail, hungover as shit. I'll never go back. Since then, I graduated from the school I was suspended from, I work a full-time career and I live in a house with my girlfriend and a cat. Once was enough to put me back on the straight and narrow.

I didn't go to jail but I did community service...holy fuck I will walk straight as an arrow for the rest of my life. Never ever want to go through that process again. Ever. :chuckles:

Im not a lawyer, it's not my job to defend him. I've already told you that he went way beyond what a reasonable person would do. But no, I am not convicting him because felons don't have rights. They took the risk of going in there like the pieces of shit they are and they deserve anything they got coming to them.

The world is better off without these two in it. Multiple felony acts before the age of 18 with a drug problem. Not losing any sleep over that.

LMFAO

Yes, felons actually do have rights my friend. You must have fallen asleep in school or something. This must be where the discrepancy in our two opinions occurs. Now I see it. That's all I needed to hear.

It's fatalistic and narcissistic for sure. There's a lot of oxygen thieves out there who i wish weren't around. There's also nobody I'd be willing to kill without mine or my family's life being at risk, because my life is worth more than theirs and I enjoy my life without intruding on others. Narcissistic or not, it's not about me. It's about people like this guy and people like those kids.

Melodramatic...I don't see it. I'm expressing a stance based on 29 years of observation of all walks of life. Some people just aren't good for society, not sure why that's difficult to admit. I'm not saying I'd kill those people. Just that...I don't want them around. It's the opposite of dramatic.

While I agree there are people who I wouldn't shed a single tear over being removed from this world, two 18 year olds robbing a house don't exactly fit my bill. At that age, rehabilitation is 100% the best option in my opinion.

I don't know. Call me emotional, but I just find it really, really sad when I see stories like this, even if they were committing a serious crime.

I'm interested to know what you guys would do, realistically, if you woke up to one or two people breaking into your house.

Are you prepared in the event that happens? I know living here in Florida feels a lot different than up north. I was raised in Ohio in a small town where we never locked our doors. Here, it's completely different, even though I live in what is considered a mostly touristy/retirement area.

I can honestly say that if someone broke into my house, they'd probably get one verbal warning to stop what they were doing. If they didn't, I would not hesitate to shoot them. If they tried to get up, or moved like they were going to draw a gun, I'd shoot again. I would also keep the gun drawn on them until police arrived.

I wouldn't/couldn't hesitate, I am responsible for my 8 year old daughter and my wife.

Well said. I bet the same people (you) who used to leave doors open and cars unlocked way back wouldn't even think of doing that in today's world.

I don't give any verbal warning (nor am I obligated to). Anybody breaking into my home is a threat, immediately, and my life is in danger. There is no other way of thinking at that moment.

Thanks for the input. You can leave now.

They broke into a home right before they broke into this guys house and they stole pills among other items. Pretty safe to say they knew the home wasn't vacate and that they were there to burglarize the residence.

did the homeowner know he had broken into his house. all he heard was some noise upstairs and he saw someones legs and started shooting. All I know if the man hadnt already decided he was going to kill whoever came into his house the first chance he got. he would be facing life in prison for cold blooded murder

certainly the guy had every right to be angered. his kindness of letting a neighbours kid use his house to rehearse for the kids band led to random teenagers breaking into his house on a regular basis.

does a homeowner have a right to use poor judgement in an intruder situation? certainly. does it give him a right to what amounts to premeditated murder. certainly not

The problem here is you are automatically labeling them as felons. How do I know this guy didn't just pick them up off the street, ask them if they wanted to shoot up some drugs and shoot them? Then claim they broke in. Was there signs of forced entry? Innocent until proven guilty.

Both of your statements are idiotic. If those two came into my house at night, you bet your sweet liberal ass I'm shooting these drug addicts first, asking questions second. Are you suggesting that if someone breaks into your apartment, you are asking them "do you have problems, we can get you help". If you come into somebody else's domain, you should expect consequences to your actions. If it was an Iraq veteran, I'm shooing him.

Now I'm not saying I would execute them.

I don't know that anyone is arguing the initial shot, but the shots after were uncalled for IMHO.

Not true, I know several people who still leave their cars unlocked as well as houses.

I left my car unlocked until 2012 (of course there was nothing in it), bought a new one and it came with an alarm. I said fuck it, might as well arm it.

this is why they should allow people t have fully automatic guns. this guy could of just sprayed these kids in one pull of the trigger and took care of it in one go

Im actually afraid to lock my door as i dont want the thieves to break my windows

Well, I don't have a gun but if I did I probably would shoot them. Whether or not I warned them first would depend on the situation. If I was behind them and aiming at them I'd probably warn them first. If we just came face to face and I could clearly see who they are I might fire first.

So many variables. But relating to this story, nobody is arguing about the guy's first shots.
