What are they spraying in the sky?

These planes are 2000 feet apart -
From your backyard you wouldn't even be able to tell there were two planes up there at 28,000 & 30,000 feet.
Look, I'm not blind. I see the trails...everyone does...we see the same thing. It's just a difference of opinion. I see water vapor trails. You see Spray Planes designed to look like commercial jets spraying the skies and people with chemicals for some unknown reason. You have no proof other than you see planes with trails behind them sometimes in a suspicious pattern.
No, I can't tell if it is a few thousand feet apart. But, I can certainly tell objects that are say 10k or more apart. You can tell significant distances. Just not exactly how far apart. I can also tell when the plane is so low that I have to pause when talking on the phone too.
I have not once claimed that I know exactly what they are doing up there. But, they are definitely taking flight paths that are different then usual. That the paths that are different are the ones leaving these trails. Sometimes up there for hours. After the one day a couple of summers ago where I watched a perfectly clear day turn into seeing my sky filled with about a third of the open space all cloudy from these trails is when I started to wonder what's up. That's it, no more, no less.
Anyways, this is my last post in this thread. I appreciate that this post was polite. Several of the other posts have been damn disrespectful. I have to say that last night was first time I ever questioned being on this site. From now on, I think I will stick to the sports and other light hearted threads.

Eh, imo, that's doing a bit of disservice to this site. I can tell you that I appreciate your input. Don't let the fact that some people have the tact of a fucking sledgehammer stop you from expressing yourself around here. It's people like you, and people with differing perspectives from the norm, that make for good conversation. I like when my thoughts are challenged, even if it sometimes entails putting up with people who feel the need to belittle me while doing it. That's on them and it's usually pretty obvious to most everyone else.
I'm so proud of myself. I just made that post without one single dab out of my empty Jergens bottle.

You are correct, i have never lived 2 miles from an airport...but i've worked next to one for nearly 2 decades. We have a patio area and basketball court on the airport side of the building. We cookout, shoot hoops or have happy hour a lot in the summer...I've seen a lot of the airport sky, planes and vapor trails over the years.
There ARE more flights in the sky than there were 20 years ago, BUT let's assume the numbers are identical. Can we agree that there are FAR MORE efficient jet engines in the sky today than there were 20 years ago? The more efficient the engine, the more water vapor. This is indisputable. THAT is why people are seeing more and more planes leaving trails than ever before. Here's two planes flying at the exact same altitude -
Here's a rocket that passes through dry air(no trail), then wet air(con trail), then dry air again. Again, wetness of air and altitude are huge factors.
From where you are standing, you can't tell the altitude of planes...you simply can't. Different altitudes, power settings, different air temps, wetness of the air, different engines, different winds speeds all effect trails.

Got news for you, Max. The analysis is great for anyone other than a conspiracy theorist. They're going to hone in on your last sentence and twist it. Guaranteed.

I'm going to give you a thanks because I was curious what (as I think Jig said) what is the endpoint to this spraying... what, if it is happening, what is someone trying to accomplish. I cannot get on board with the mind control/population control theory, and I do not know if what is explained in this link is scientifically plausible or just cobbled together by someone who thought it sounded official... but I also agree that the scope of nature/weather is pretty immense.
The other thing is with many of these dark secrets that impact so much... wouldn't you think sooner or later someone credible would spill the beans and expose the truth?

This video is CRAZY! It's almost like there are preordained flight patterns in the sky... notice how the jets often seemed to follow the SAME PATH! And the other thing... it seems like many of these so-called patterns are over major population centers, and more people see these chemtrails over big cities than in the rural areas or oceans. What does THAT tell you? OP may be on something here...

Every time I read about conspiracy theories, it makes me think of the Phil Hendrie show whose "guests" have the wackiest theories on everything, particularly these three. One believes that Donald Rumsfeld was waterboarded. The other believes that birds are banding together and plotting against pilots. The other guy believes that Paul McCartney has been dead for years and the Beatles have been hiding it.

or maybe because there are literally "roads" in the skies? they are called airwarys and they use them to get from one airport to another, you know, those airports in major cities...

Scholar I love you as a poster and you usually bring some really good insight into things. I think in this case, you have every reason to be suspicious of what you have seen, that is a logical and intelligent thing to do. You then raised such concerns here, and it seems like very reasonable and scientific explanations have been given to explain the strange things you have witnessed. Now a lot of that is done in very attacking ways, and that always makes it difficult to do the "oh you're probably right, that makes sense, my bad" thing. There's also the stupid perception that somehow sticking to your guns is an honorable/manly thing when it comes to fact based arguments. Basically, I have gathered from your posts over the years that you are an intelligent person, and one who doesn't just latch onto popular opinion. You have earned my respect through that.
This is simply a case where your natural suspicions are, in all likelihood, misplaced. I've done it many times. I can get perfect scores on all my standardized math tests ever, but i also thought that women had an extra rib until last year. I'm wrong way more often than I'm right, and I'm only right on things because I've corrected my previously wrong position through the knowledge of others.
Just want to let you know that not everyone thinks being wrong on something makes you dumb. The only thing that defines that is sticking to a position that has been disproven because of whatever emotional attachment to the position. I have a lot of respect for your thought process, and this has not changed that. Love having you here.
