What are they spraying in the sky?

Not trying to crack on the OP, but this thread reminds me of back in the day... World Series of Rock at Cleveland late 70's Pink Floyd and I'm trippin' away. To me, and anyone who's done acid knows your perception of reality can be very altered in a very convincing way, and I was sure that Floyd had some huge wind producing source that was causing the air inside the stadium to be swirling around at a high speed. It wasn't disturbing me, just something I was atuned too. In fact, the vortex had such an effect on me that AFTER the concert I think I walked around the perimeter of the stadium 3-4 times before I was able to "break free" and veer off into the parking lot, and of course then drive safely home.

So I get home, living with my Mom and step-father, I'm still high as a kite and my Mom asks "How was the concert?" and I start a rapid fire machine-gun speed drug induced explanation of this wind tunnel phenomena that was going on inside the stadium. I've describing things in great detail, and I notice how engrossed they are in my story... they are staring at me with open mouths... probably because they had never heard of such a thing and were as amazed as I was.

The next day my Mom asked me if I had fun at the concert. I said yup, and she said something like "Well it sure sounded like you did." I figured out on my own that it MIGHT have just been something I ate... and didn't really happen like I thought it had. But I'm ok with that.

A lot of the more "respected" posters all seem to have same arguments over and over. They also like to tout their expertise and resumes...some claim to be Phd's, scientists, engineers, etc.

They all post testimony and photos of this happening every day over their different cities all around the world. "Today I saw 6 planes spraying over St Louis", "Today i saw 5 planes spraying over Chicago", "Today i saw 6 planes over Russia". One guy was talking about how he had been watching planes for several hours and then his eyes started stinging when the chemicals "worked their way down to the ground". :chuckles: I was dying to register to the site and ask him why the other 1M people who lived in his city didn't also have stinging eyes.

Anyhow, here's something i've been wondering. Isn't it extremely easy to prove what these trails are? Can't the "Chemtrail Experts" rent a cessna, fly into an area that has been sprayed all day and test the air composition??? All I see is videos and accounts of something coming out of the back of a plane. Why don't these people that are 100% certain that our goverment is up to no good go test the chemtrails? It would be the HUGEST story ever uncovered in the US history. These guys claim to be scientists. I don't care about testing some water on the ground they found to be high in berium...that tells me ZERO about the trail behind a plane. Grab a freaking plane, trail a group of these planes that are spraying in "formation" and get SCIENTIFIC PROOF. It's so simple, right?

Scholar I love you as a poster and you usually bring some really good insight into things. I think in this case, you have every reason to be suspicious of what you have seen, that is a logical and intelligent thing to do. You then raised such concerns here, and it seems like very reasonable and scientific explanations have been given to explain the strange things you have witnessed. Now a lot of that is done in very attacking ways, and that always makes it difficult to do the "oh you're probably right, that makes sense, my bad" thing. There's also the stupid perception that somehow sticking to your guns is an honorable/manly thing when it comes to fact based arguments. Basically, I have gathered from your posts over the years that you are an intelligent person, and one who doesn't just latch onto popular opinion. You have earned my respect through that.

This is simply a case where your natural suspicions are, in all likelihood, misplaced. I've done it many times. I can get perfect scores on all my standardized math tests ever, but i also thought that women had an extra rib until last year. I'm wrong way more often than I'm right, and I'm only right on things because I've corrected my previously wrong position through the knowledge of others.

Just want to let you know that not everyone thinks being wrong on something makes you dumb. The only thing that defines that is sticking to a position that has been disproven because of whatever emotional attachment to the position. I have a lot of respect for your thought process, and this has not changed that. Love having you here.

Cessna would fall out of the sky going that high. You would probably need to be upwards of 30,000-40,000 feet in altitude in a pressurized aircraft or you would become hypoxic. I think conspiracy theorists don't take the time trying to prove their point because they are fearful of the fact that at that altitude it's about -47 degrees celsius on a standard day and they'll come across the hard truth that it's nothing more than ice particles, thus destroying their conspiracy that the government is corrupt. I feel like conspiracy theorists have no vested interest in investigating anything that might refute their opinions. I guess I don't blame them if they are trying to manipulate the minds of others and garner more followers.
