I tried watching Aziz's stand up on Netflex, I bailed within the first 25 minutes. I went to see what else they had in the comedy (stand up section)... Dane Cook pops up. So, I bite (Rough Around the Edges) and I fell asleep in the first 20 minutes. He's very animated, and I'm sure that's a HUGE deal that makes him popular. He looks like he just got out of bed and decided to wing it. His back muscles are probably all f'd up. He moves in odd ways. It is exhausted watching him, but I would say that he got more chuckles than Aziz.

Decided to watch "Clue" -- I would watch this all the time as a kid, but never really understood it.

It's a classic!

Just watched Boyz n the Hood. Very interesting movie, I'm pretty amazed that it was written and directed by a first timer. Acting was really good all around too. Thematically it's just as relevant today as it was back then. I'd give it a solid 8.5-9/10.

just watched this bc you did. Good movie. Finally saw Ice Cube in something I liked him in.. Cuba Gooding Jr. just always looked a little beat up.. even at 17 he looked 40

Watched star trek and 42 over they weekend. I thought start trek was good. 42 was okay.

42 was boring as fuck. I recommend "cool world" instead.

I just checked out Life of Pi and really enjoyed it. The Tiger special effects were pretty damn good for the most part and the story was less hollow than some make it out to be. 8/10

For me the movie succeeded because of it's leads. Cuba Gooding Jr., Ice Cube, Ricky Baker, and Lawrence Fishburne were all outstanding and really made the script come to life.

great performances and characters all around. Agreed.

Just watched kickass 2.. Didnt like the first one at all.. made it through the whole thing this time

Funny enough, Ricky from Boyz n the Hood was the foster dad of Hit Girl in the movie.

Incorrect 100%. Morris Chestnut played Ricky.
The guy from Kick Ass (Marcus) is Omari Hardwick. They don't look alike.

Are you sure? Both wikipedia and imdb say detective marcus is played by Morris Chestnut.

Watched You're Next a few days ago, overall a pretty solid horror film. The music was some of the best I can remember from any horror film.

I see they switched the actors between Kick Ass 1 and 2. I was referring to the first one. I have zero interest in seeing Kick Ass 2. Loved the first one, but heard the second one is far more violent and less comic like.

I really like the lead in Kick Ass, and I like Hit Girl, but I wasn't thrilled when I saw that Jim Carrey was in the new one. I'll catch it when it reaches cable.

Basically, you were right in regards to the 2nd one.
