Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Rush - 9/10 I loved it. Some great one liners, awesome shots and helps it's a true store.
The Kings of Summer - 8/10. I'm from Chagrin so it was cool seeing places I knew and my childhood was playing in some of the same woods they filmed in.

When the wind blows: 10/10 the saddest most tragic film ever made and one of the most ambitious blends of practical and traditional animation

I'm going to have to check this out.

Blackfish - doc about the original orca that became Shamu at Seaworld. Covers the incidents of whales killing trainers. It basically says that this orignal Shamu named Tiligum was driven crazy by owners. It killed a trainer and instead of being let go or put down, they used him to breed every other orca at all the seaworlds. And surprise, trainers started getting attacked by orcas.

Interesting doc.

Sounds pretty interesting. Animals in the ocean fascinate the shit out of me. Especially big and dangerous ones that are being trained by humans. Seen a documentary show on these orca's attacking some blue whales. They had actual footage. It was wild.

Rush was great, 9/10. Great performances by the two leads, loved the dynamic the two of them had. Cinematography for the racing sequences was amazing as well, but James Hunt and Niki Lauda stole the show.

Anybody seen this movie?

Thank you for smoking is such a stujpid movie. So cliche. And its written by and for 15 year old boys. "You know the guy that can pick up any girl? Im him. On crack." fucking stupid.

Scott Pilgrim vs. the world is actually a lot funnier than i initially thought. The girl from Smashed is in it and shes awesome. Characters are good, good humor. Michael Cera is my current man crush

:uhh:......

Anyways, "Thank You for Not Smoking" started off very dull. I only made it less than 20mins in before I fell asleep. I haven't returned to try and finish it.

"This is 40" gonna rate this a -3/10. Not remotely interesting or funny. Paul Rudd seems to go in reverse with his aging. But the movie should have never been made.

I like Michael Cera. He's offbeat and funny and apparently really acts like his character in This Is The End. I sometimes see myself in him

YTou are absolutely right about Paul Rudd. He looks the same as he did in Romeo and Juliet and that was 16 years ago. He's actually better looking, and increasingly better looking as he gets older

You're just setting yourself up.....
You're doing this purposely, right?

come on. I mean like fucking him, I see myself fucking him.

What? From everything I've read that is NOT how Michael Cera acts at all in real life. They decided to make up that personality for him in the movie because they thought it would be a lot funnier, which it was. Now, don't get me wrong, I like him in some of the movies. Agreed with Scott Pilgrim, I actually enjoyed it.

theres been a few stories about him in socal college parties int he last couple years

Gravity: 9-9.5/10, incredible cinematography. Not much of a plot, but you're kept in constant suspense and it may be the prettiest movie you'll ever see.

It certainly was a spectacle. Find the biggest, loudest IMAX in your town and see it in 3D. Its one of those rare movies where 3D is an enhancement and not hindrance. At times I forgot it was even in 3D, and I'm not typically a big fan.... Just wow on the beauty of the film. I imagine this is how people felt (from a cinematography standpoint) watching 2001: for the first time.

Gour - I need an astrophysics legitimacy check on this film. Every now and then I threw out a 'no way!' but it wasn't enough to detract from the experience because I a) don't know enough to make a judgement on the plausibility, and b) was so captivated and on edge that I didn't have time to care.

Good stuff - if you plan to see it, don't disgrace the artistry of the film by waiting for DVD. Cough up the silly money they charge for a state of the art theater.
