Game 28 | Atlanta @ Cleveland | Thursday December 26, 2013 7:00 PM EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Cavs need to get a big who can shoot the ball consistently. That's one of the reasons why Irving is hogging the ball.

I agree with the first part, but I highly doubt the second. He never looks for someone to pass to. He doesn't even know other guys are on the court with him.

Another one of our very public embarrassments.

Thompson and Waiters were both scoring the ball efficiently this game, and I can count on my left hand the amount of times that either of them even touched the ball in either OT. There's a time and place for KySo, and it is never and nowhere.

Alot of you are looking at overall game. Kyrie had alot of looks tonight and capitalized on him but he also had a good amount of possessions where he was trying to force things when he didnt need to.

Thompson was 8-13. Waiters 9-14. the Cavs were +10 when Irving was off the floor . yet he had to hog the ball cause he didnt have anyone to pas too? makes no sense. Irving hogged the ball cause he wanted to beat teague he didnt give a shit about anyone else tonight.

This is true. Kyrie thinks hes playing streetball where his honor is on the line when someone starts kicking his ass an he doesnt go back at them. Whatever. Jack killed us tonight. Why he was in there for delly when we needed stops makes no sense. Of course having no one on the roster that can both stay with AND challenge Korver 3s is a roster problem.

Fear not.

Even at 10-18 we are only 1.5 games out of the playoffs with 8th seeded Boston coming to town. Win that and we are only .5 back with 2/3 of a season still to go.

We are right in the thick of it.

I hate when people post this shit. Who gives a fuck? Does this team look like it can even be competitive in the playoffs?

I don't understand why one of your worst defenders is covering Korver at the end of the game. Huge size mismatch also. Too much over dribbling and just overall low basketball IQ at the end of the game. Kyrie hits two big shots to go up 5 in 2nd OT, then forces the third. You have to take advantage of those opportunities. How much losing can one team take? It's time to start working as a team.

Sadly, this was the 3rd seed in the East currently. As long as the Cavs don't finish 7th or 8th, the Cavs are almost guaranteed at least a competitive playoff series if they make it...

OTOH, I liked the changes to the lineup Brown made. Now my next wish is to keep them in more during clutch time. That Delly, Waiters, Jack? (or was it Clark), Andy, Zeller lineup was pretty effective.

If he is that sensitive he better learn how to stop someone so he doesn't have to cost us games because he has to keep going back at a guy he gave up 30+ to.

Does Kyrie practice? Sometimes it seems like he forgets how to dribble the damn basketball. I can't tell if his mind racing too fast or if he's not using his brain at all.

Also the weak, amateur, embarrassing turn-overs are getting old. At some point you're suppose to learn from fucking up.

Positives
- No Alonzo Gee
- Bynum got the hook and Zeller looked decent
- Dion was great on his return (couple too many TOs though)
- Andy was back to filling up the box score mode with crazy energy
- One of our rookies got the experience of making clutch FTs with the game on the line. Yes, it was Delly, but baby steps for Brown.
- It was a heck of a lot more fun to watch than the last game....

Negatives
- When we're down 20 to Detroit and no-one else has done anything all night, then feel free Kyrie to chuck up all the shots and pad your stats/ego. However, when we ARE playing reasonably, keep the ball moving please.
- Turnovers. Also finishing on fast breaks was atrocious tonight.
- 5 mins for AB. DNP for Sergey. I appreciate Delly got minutes, but send them to the D-League if you aren't going to play them. It worked well for Terrence Jones.
