Gordon suspension reduced to 10, 12 if convicted of DWI

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Dude likes to drive around with people who have weed in their pockets, you think he cares if he drives drunk?

This guy just gave up everything for nothing.

I can understand partying on the 4th of July, but damn, use your head. Simple as that.

FWIW, typically DUIs result in fines in the NFL. Curious how this plays out.

Seems like a lot of speculation. Not anyone with facts.
Drug policy and personal conduct (which is generally where DUIs fall under) are separate issues in the NFL. There is a slim chance this does not affect the other and just turns into a fine.

I assume it will based off other situations.

I really hope the NFL just bans his ass for life at this point. You can't cut him if there is even a chance he comes back or gets his shit together because it would haunt us for years. He's had enough chances though. He doesn't deserve another one.

Maybe now people will give up the fairy tale that Gordon has enough self control and discipline to become a premier NFL player? At this point I don't think you can ignore the obvious signs of substance abuse.

Me too. Ban him for life please.

Just cut ties already. And get this kid some help. He is a certified mess.

Was he never told that police are increasingly alert on holiday weekends? His other incident occured Memorial Day weekend.

..and people will still continue to give this bum he benefit of the doubt...just watch.

I haven't gave up on him yet though. His talent is just too remarkable to cut him.

Take this 8 game ban like a man, learn and grow from it and become the guy this organization expected you to be.

Strategically the Browns should keep him on the roster until the NFL bans him for good. Seriously, in the off chance he gets his stuff together he could sign with a rival and kick our butts 2x a year. He's yours, he doesn't cost you very much. Keep his rights until the NFL tells him he can't play in their league any longer.

I'm against that. While I can agree, that you only can save so much of yourself before the world turns on you - but remember the talent this guys brings to the field. That's it. Nothing else. Take nothing personal into account and you really have to let his talent speak for the guy.

I'm not giving up on Josh until he cuts his hand off, metaphorically speaking.

Again. His talent is too far great to give up on. He needs to take this next suspension like a man, grow from it and return as a man that this organization and everyone expected him to be.
